I now only bother with the MF jobs if it's convenient to me. The free lunches are ok and I'll never say no to a free bet, but that's about it. As BG said, other MS firms pay 3 1/2 times the MF fee for eye tests, so I don't bother with them either.
With that said, MF (Retail Eyes) and TNS payment pending for tomorrow0 -
Hello all, could anyone point me to a website or any info. on a certain movie trailer checking company (I'm no good with the cryptic naming but they sent out an invitation e-mail Wednesday morning for a film starring little plastic people).
I ask because although I remember registering with them recently I cannot find any details on what you actually have to do. I can guess beforehand but I have had my fingers burnt doing this in the past with other assignments.
Any help would be gratefully received as ever.
You are checking to see what trailers and/or adverts are shown before the main movie, it is as simple as that.0 -
Hi,
I'm not a regular poster but I've been MSing for around 5 years now and pop in on here from time to time.
I just wondered if anyone knew whether the TNS big toiletries chain jobs (the multibuy promotions) would be reappearing or whether it was a one-off before Christmas? I've never seen those jobs before or since...0 -
The cheap supermarket jobs seem to go quite quickly in my area, god only knows why! Even if you're there already, surely it's not worth your time to fill the report in for the appalling fee they pay.
I did one there today which wasn't too bad. You had to buy an exact list of items, which meant the reimbursement was a lot better and it was mostly stuff I use anyway.
First time I'd seen these jobs though, agree that the usual payment is a bit of an insult. Even if the report is short, most of us have to cover fuel at least.0 -
doh forgot location photo.. was a cheap freezer shop where £5 was 2 heavy bag fulls..0

Hi all,
I have been with MF for a few years now but they are just getting worse, hardly any jobs available and the ones that are occasionally available are out in the sticks for a pittance!
I registered with grass roots about 6 months ago but they rarely have anything in my area and its snapped up quick, so i'm yet to do a shop for them.
So my question is, which other MS companies would you recommend? There are so many out there I don't want to waste my time applying if they all turn out to not be so good...
Thanks in advance0 -

Take a look at the second post of this thread. Although it takes time to register, the more you are 'on the books' with, the more you will have available. Also it could be worthwhile to take a couple of jobs from different companies that are located together where it would be uneconomical to take one on its own.
I'd certainly stick with GR though, the fees are generally ok and the reports are well structured.0 -
I'm registered with loads of companies and I've had jobs off 10 different ones. So it's definitely worth your time to register with as many as you can. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

I am registered with 44 different companies and have done jobs for 18, and regularly do jobs for 14 of those, so it definitely pays to sign up with several.
I am quite often able to group two or three different visits together within one single area making each city quite a bit more worthwhile0
