Contracts come and go to different agencies (even if the same people end up doing the jobs half the time :)). Have a look over the last few pages and it'll tll you the agencies that are putting a lot of work out.

Strange that you say GFK haven't got anything on for you, they've almost always got a few jobs available when I look. Have you tried putting an additional postcode or two into your details?

Thanks for your reply skivenov. Yes I have added postcodes. There are jobs on the board but they're all quite far away, not worth the drive really. There's a type of job on there that I hate doing but it pays quite well. I use to practically live off their bank jobs, haven't seen any in about a year. I use to do a yellow dept store and a catalogue shop for Abai. Do they have any clients at all anymore? I've signed up to Alerts again to see if I can get a better picture of what's going on. I also use to do about 12 a month for ESA, pharmacy, dead and buried and food shops. I only see the travel companies snd banks now. I'm well out of the loop by the look of it. :o:o

**** I'm bored this week, almost looking forward to a day counting meat :(

I do sympathise - I was on a loop of Swedish fashion shops, kitchens, diy and convenience stores. Back to phone shops this week - I think I will have done them all within striking distance. Any email from Tns 're phones will get binned straight away as got to the point where I think my knowledge is up with the sales people and that's not difficult. Sacked myself from phone shops for a while.

Either they're loading them an area at a time or I don't meet the profile because I've not seen any either.

My observation is that Gfk don't load across all areas straight away. I notice that somebody will place an alert for banks or bike shops or stars for example and that up to a week later they appear on my board. It seems you need to regularly check Gfk as they load intermittently.

60 TNS phone shops, and counting. One more tomorrow - which may be my last. Started off being a pain on the hole, but with every additional incarnation they've made them more so. Now beyond the pale.
  • I haven't been on this website for a very long time. Lots of new names. Since I've last been on (about 2 years ago) there has hardly been any woek about. gfK use to be a big earner for me, at least £100 every two weeks, now I'm lucky if I get one job a month. All the other companies I use to work for have really slowed down too. Is it just me?
    Welcome back =)

Off to do the 40th soon, Vulcan Death Flu permitting.
Though thank RA for last year's product jobs, which are keeping me going with the VDF.

I was assigned a job with Helion, my first job with them, the due date is today so I was going to do it today but they've emailed to say it's overdue. Am I not allowed to do jobs on the actual due date with Helion? I would've tried to fit it in yesterday if I'd realised. My fault I guess. :(

I did 24 phone shops within 3 months in my area, and I am not going to do any more as others are too far and not worth doing even with mileage. When I am in the shopping centres, I walk past them very quickly now as I associate them with lengthy reports (sounds mental, I know :)). I am kind of glad that it's 6 months gap between those visits because I need a break from them.
  • I was assigned a job on Friday with Helion which I said I would do Friday. I only had the confirmation when I was out so I wasn't able to print the briefing notes or letter I needed to take with me. I also had a test I needed to complete. I emailed to explain that I was only in that area Friday morning and can't complete the visit.

I'm having 2-3 emails a day from them about the overdue report. Even after sending a second email don't think I'll bother with them any more too much hassle.
