They opened one of the toy stores where I live which was handy. The coffee shops are still done, was offered one this month but wasn't going to be passing it.

Does anyone work for a company called ABA If so are they good to work for.

Is that the same as ABAi ?? If so then, yes, I pick up a few jobs for them. They don't have too much as far as I'm aware, mostly petrol stations. I've found them ok to work for, easy reports to complete and prompt payment :)
  • No its a different company. I already work for a ABAi. This is a company I applied to quite a whole ago thinking it was ABAi. They want a telephone interview then a face to face. Not too bad as they are local to me.

They are very selective about who they take on. But if you get in with them then I find them to be good. Work was slow at first, but is gradually increasing. I think they increase what they allocate to you depending on the quality of you work and how reliable you are.

If you get past the face to face interview they will also want to a training session before offering you work.

Good company, as others have said the work is a little slow at first but if you provide quality you will get more. Some good easy jobs and some that are a bit stretching. Your cupboards will never be empty though =)

Just had an e-mail from RA asking for new auditors in my area. Anyone have any idea what auditing for RA entails and if it's worth it?

    Cheers :)

I applied last year but they didn't take me on.
  • I think I will go for it. I take it from your name we may be in competition for ms jobs. I come from where the black puddings grow.:rotfl:
You have the best market around. I am in Warrington area but up your way on a regular basis so yes I guess we are in competition =)

ABA are lovely. I had my interview and training over the phone so I don't think a face to face is always necessary.
  • Yes I know and plenty of shops to work at. With the new Rock development and The Millgate I find there are plenty of shops to be done in my home town. :T PS if you visit the market on a Friday, I am the one looking miserable laden down with carrier bags full of veg following my wife.
That probably covers the majority on there =).

Thanks for that. It is reassuring to find someone else who has experience of the company. I will give it a go. :)
I dont know whether to feel privileged or not but no phone or face to face interview for me from them ;(
they nice company to work with. have had some very good jobs with them
  • I'm the same. Replied in minutes, could do a massive list full. Short notice if they reply now :(

Dont worry, you will get some, I got some last night, just asked for more. Dates extended.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
