Can somebody confirm whether it is worth joining Catalyst. I applied some time ago and they are now after a copy of my CV. I am somewhat reluctant to release my CV to a MS company, if they are another 'Helion' who main jobs are cars and have limited other opportunities. This is the only MS company that has asked for such information and seems to be a bit OTT for a small part time role. Catalyst don't seem to be mentioned much here so wondering just how may jobs they have on offer.

A while ago they were scouring FB looking for shoppers to help with their urgent toy shops that they wanted completing that day. I happened to be going near one of them that day so sent them an email saying I could do it after I finished work, they replied saying that they wanted a CV from me and wouldn't even consider allocating me the job without one. The job obviously wasn't that urgent! I never did bother making a CV and sending it in. I've been working for the same employer for 8 years straight from uni and have never needed one.

Their only client this side of the Irish sea is toy shops,

They have other clients. I have done toy shops and coffee shops and I know they do some fashion stuff.

Just missed the Grassroots slapper delivery - as always I logged on the minute the email arrived but someone with extreeeeemley fast fingers got there first . But I did notice the reimbursement has reduced by £10 though the minimum order amount is still the same. :(:( Not good news - if I ever manage to get another one that is!

I joined GR and never saw one job so, after 4 months I chinned them off. Have since tried to sign back up with them, on several occasions, and even tried a different e-mail address, but they clearly don't want me back :(

    Oh well, my mistake.

    I'm in deepest darkest Cornwall!

Email arrived at 14:19 today job gone by 14:22 and I had checked their website on the off chance earlier this morning as well as they were mentioned on the alerts board yesterday, but there was nothing there then!

I like working for GR - usually fair fees and the reports are OK too. But obviously so does everyone else becasue the jobs disappear faster than hot cakes!

There's only two or three down there isn't there, we went hunting for one when we were down in St Ives last summer.

Prior to today's job I have been drinking real ale for 3 decades and only ever met one pint which was undrinkable.

    The total is now two.
