People are reporting getting a reply within a week of the date given but your particular POPLA appeal was 'complicated' for them wasn't it! I reckon they are scratching their heads (and hopefully reading the Equality Act duties) as we speak!

I was reading the lead adjudicator's published stance on blue badges and it doesn't seem to be favourable.

Now POPLA isn't court and I suspect that the Equality Act would stand up much better in open court.

But it is worth taking a look at the lead adjudicator's annual report to get the current view as he has a whole section on this. Who knows, following this appeal, it might read differently next year.

Coupon-mad may very well be adjusting his stance for him. Let's see.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well, you could be right. Will now be 3 weeks from given date. I emailed them to confirm that they had received the additional info and matched it with the original appeal. They confirmed they had (on the appeal date) so they certainly have all the stuff to hand.

Looks like they are probably concentrating on the easy ones to meet their quota.I check my emails daily apprehensively!

OK, now 5 weeks since 'the date'.

CM, should I be rattling POPLA, or would you leave it a little longer?

my relative is now on 4 weeks after the "due date" so I advised them to send a quick email off to the popla address chasing it up or asking when the new date is

    heard nothing yet

not sure what their shutdown times are for the xmas period neither so am beginning to think its going to be jan 2014 before we hear something now
