The antibiotics seem to be kicking in ! Bundle of mischief this afternoon , think she is going to fit in well as she is currently looking longingly and meowing at a half empty wine bottle ! She wont even look at solid food though and the vet said she needs to put some weight on as is a wee bit wee. Will keep trying to pork her up a bit !!!!! I know I sound like a broken record but I really appreciate every bit of support and advice you have all given me x

I don't know if this will help right now, maybe in a few weeks time, but my boyfriend, who's temporarily adopted my cat, keeps her tray in the bathroom. She'd have regular accidents at mine, but only one since she's been with him and that was on her second day there.

She likes company in there though and the other day had to pretend to "go" as she hadn't been all day.

P.S I've lurked for years but this thread has made me sign up :D

Welcome ! Will keep that in mind thanks :) My sons GF cat pees on the real toilet and poos in a litter tray , odd but amusing to watch :rotfl:

I'm currently taking care of a couple of ferals, one of whom I can now head stroke and tummy rub, but the one I suspect to be her mummy is still very shy. Don't think that's her first litter either. I'm hoping to capture & spay both within the next week or two but praying the experience doesn't deter them from approaching me.

They won't come to the house as I have an elderly/intolerant cat but have been feeding here in the garden several weeks now.

Awww I hope it doesn't deter them , it's the best thing for them isn't it . I don't know who dada cat is but they look awfully like the lady across the roads un neuterd domestic ! Wouldn't it be lovely if folk were responsible then these poor kittys wouldn't need us foster mamas and paps !

I live in quite a rural area and there's been an old ginger Tom that shows up periodically, but no others, probably the father of the older cat. Hopefully that means most residents have neutered their toms :)

I recently PTS my eldest cat (24yrs) and it's only since then these two have moved onto the premises, although I suspect the younger one has been living in one of my outbuildings for some time. I recall seeing her around last Autumn, but she was much younger. I reckon she's around 18mths now, hence wanting to spay her ASAP lol

Absolutely gorgeous. Makes me want another kitty, strange how kitties and cats make me broody but not children.
