Did she get some antibiotics from the vet? you have done a fantastic job getting her this far, kittens that are rejected by their mother don't usually stand much chance,so the dedication from you is amazing.

Yes she had an antibiotic injection , fluids under the skin and has antibiotic eye drops ( she really isn't happy with them lol ) her temp was still up this morning at check up so going back at 6.30 for a quick check .
It's lovely of you to say I've done a greatjob but it's really all down to the help & support I have had from all of you that has got her this far xx:A

No problem, I Just hope I'm not landing you with a huge bill for calling the vet out of hours!!!

Bill for all treatment and call out was £41.21 not sure if that good or bad but worth every penny xxxxx

That's cheap, I'd be ecstatic if our vet ever charged me that amount!!! Glad she seems to be doing ok, she sounds like she is a little fighter! I think not liking having eye drops is a common thing in cats and would view that as a positive sign!!!! Tell her she has to have them to make her all better!!!!! You ARE doing a fantastic job with her.

When Salem went to the emergency vets because he'd eaten lilies the out of hours fee was £83.78 and the consultation fee was £38.50 before treatment even started so that's definitely good.

That's slightly more than I pay for a normal in hours consult, with antibiotics for my dog, so very reasonable for an out of hours call out.

Hope she continues to improve xx

Back from this mornings visit , the antibiotics brought her temp right down to normal so that's a relief :-) Picking up antibiotic drops at 5 , think it's about a weeks worth. She still has a really snotty nose bless her and is desperate to eat but struggling , she seems to have perked up a bit too in herself and was ferociously ( lol ) meowing at a toilet roll tube this morning !
