It was a great idea , I think she just likes a wee bit privacy
Makes a big difference to the floor odour :j
She still is turning her nose up at wet kitten food though , the wee madam , think the only brand I haven't tried is RC , off for a wee check up and next lot of worming at vets today so will see what she suggests . I'm panicing she isn't getting what she needs , tho she is still guzzling the KRM !:AIt matters not how long a stars shines ,what is remembered is the brightness of it's light.

Is she eating dry kitten food? If so then I wouldn't worry. All my kittens were weaned on dry food as it's less messy. They only had wet food introduced in later life as a treat.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
She isn't interested in the dry either ! Trying to mix dry in with the chicken a bit at a time x:AIt matters not how long a stars shines ,what is remembered is the brightness of it's light.

Do you know of anyone else with cats/kittens? It could well be that she doesn't know what she's supposed to do as she has no mum/siblings to teach her. Would it even be possible to re-introduce er back to her original litter?
I forget how old she is now but it's not uncommon for kittens to take several weeks to wean properly and some don't even start until they're 5-6wks old. Have you tried mixing her formula milk with a little kitten meat?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
She is 5 weeks now , I don't know of any cats with kits and the lovely girl from CPL is going to call me back , hopefully tonight . Very bad mother alert ! Made my 12 yr old kneel on all fours & lap out of a saucer during his lunch break . Was nearly in tears with laughter , all Magig did was climb on his back !
Thanks again for all the help & advice x:AIt matters not how long a stars shines ,what is remembered is the brightness of it's light.

Well , as Magic still sneezing a wee bit and not finished antibiotics for the cat flu , CPL advised not to put her near other kittens / mama so they don't have a chance of getting it. She is licking wet food off my finger ( didn't know how gross cat foot smelt lol ) but the only thing she will eat from the dish is the chicken rice combo. It was suggested to leave her longer between milk feeds so she will be hungry and only offer her the kitten food , not the chicken , I will give that a go today but how long should I try for do you all think , she is still underweight so I don't want her missing out too much .
Until she starts the eating malarky I'm afraid my wee lad is going to be spending a long time drinking oot a dish ! Bless him x:AIt matters not how long a stars shines ,what is remembered is the brightness of it's light.

Did they suggest mixing the formula with kitten meat to encourage her? That's what I would try next x“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
