People that swear a lot out of context are inferior.

    Actually it does.
  • Apologies, if anyone has mentioned this in the thread (haven't read the whole thing)...but this is very easy to solve!! James May is not northern, therefore he would never pronounce the f-word as an 'ock'....so can only be the 'c' version of the 'ock' pronunciation. :)

    Definitely the C version.

From someone who audio types for a living

TBH if one heard the F word from that, I'd suggest a hearing test :p

As to the subtitles.. does anyone think they would type the 'F' word on a pre-watershed program irrespective of what was said? that would be asking for trouble.

As someone who has subtitles on all the time, they either use the proper word, in programmes that are on after 9 or actually type (beep).
Apart from when someone's name is beeped out on the programme but subtitles tell everyone the name of the man who's just peed up the side of the police station.

I notice "mseforumteam3" has been very busy lol

Somebody needs to get a life, what a ridiculous posting!!.

IF James May had said the F word before the water shed there would be articles all over the place about people complaining to the ombudsman,

Usually the way things work these days is two people complain, then the Daily Mail finds out and hands out the pitchforks.....
