DD is home. Haven't done the bathrooom today as was waiting for her - sure enough she went straight in.

I have THOROUGHLY cleaned the hallway. I have got a damp microfibre cloth and sponged 4 marks from the carpet, one was quite big. I have HAND BRUSHED it whilest hauling the vaccum along to catch the bits before they were trodden back in. I have also dusted the radiator fins.

Wellies have been washed, sleeping bag washed. It threw it down so I got wet through going getting in. Showerproof coat also hand washed. Cat loo cleaned. While loo has been drying old cat used front doormat (despite backdoor being open) so that's gone outside until it's whiff-free. It may be some time...

I have repotted my plant which my younger sister bought me for Easter LAST year. We all got one (mum, youngeast sister and me) theirs died. Mine keeps flowering. I have repotted the spider plant. (frog) and I have repotted the cactus which has been in a little pot for longer than DS has been alive:eek: - so definitely a frog!

    Come home vibes for Ollie.

Sounds as if it could be quiet-ish next week, quite a few people going on hol; I go next Monday so this week's list is going to be mainly focussed on a) harvesting any veg/fruit possible, even though freezer is now full to the brim.
    b) starting to make pre-packing piles in the bedroom
    c) making sure anything needing doing before Sept is done, e.g. paying billls etc
    d) de-cluttering of office bags post move will be a bonus
    e) housework a significant bonus

So far this morning has consisted of reading in bed too late with the excuse that OH had to work late last night so I was still reading when he got in; did heap of washing up, picked last remaining blackcurrants and pruned all bushes. That's about it really. Did a couple of surveys.

This afternoon's target - gooseberry bush, loganberries and whitecurrants.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

  • Hi all x
Not been in as I've had no Internet connection due to OH and DS1 chopping down one of the trees in my garden and severing the lines! I was more furious about no Internet than I was about them destroying my lovely big tree. Needless to say they are both in the dog house.

Thanks for the thread natty I hope Oscar is trotting home.

I've been pretty good today I have
Been out to the shops and picked up DS2's school things. I just need 2 school bags, shorts for DD, sports stuff for DS2 and trainers for him too then that's them all set to go back to school next Friday !!!
Cleaned the oven, to be fair most of the work was done by oven pride while I slept, its like new again.
I'm mid tearing the scullery apart as everything is just getting on my nerves it always looks so messy all the time.

Just going to top my caffeine and nicotine levels then I will get back to it once I'm finished I will take myself for a sunbed as I have a hair Appointment in the morning and I always avoid the sunbed for a couple of days after having the grey decluttered!

I'm boiling the kettle if anybody wants a cuppa?
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged

Oh LW. Loving the Saponiferous one :D:D I keep being made fun of in group because one of the girls says she has to keep looking up some of my words in a dictionary. There are worse things to be made fun of though.

Natty Ollie get home vibes sent.

Ozzy My Ozzie says grow. It's a lot less tiring.

Last week. Did my 'Life-story' today. Seriously depressing. But most of you have a lot more to deal with that wasn't self inflicted so hugs and spoons as needed.
