Before DD left she washed up, helped me remake my bed, made her bed and tidied her room! :D Apparently she did 4 batches of dishes while staying at her nannas over the weekend so I'm impressed as they have a dish washer :rotfl:

I've just decluttered some birthday cake that was sent down from the lakes for me. They also sent some strawberries, cream, cheese and a courgette :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm going to do a HHC at 1pm and see how much I can get cleared off todays list without bursting any blisters ;)

I'm in for this week. Off on the shoppers bus soon for the 2pm ferry and will be back on 4:30pm ferry and will do some flying this afternoon. It's dry here and there isn't any fog for a change.

Recycling gathered from bathroom and a box of toiletries from Approved food has been put away so the boxes could also be recycled .. Corner swept... it need visiting with a mop so I'll do that in a bit.
Bath scrubbed.. I need to wash the rubber mats.. one is clear and looking murky.
I need the trap off the sink as well as that is draining really slowly.. this is the reason the recycling went out.. so I could use the bucket :p

DD3 banished to the bathroom to degrease herself.. she is gross.. why are pre-/teens so vile?

Hi, I'm in as usual, with my rather pathetic flippitty-flapping rather than proper Flying.:D

"Ollie Come Home" vibes by the barrowload.

Oh Saponiferous one, how nice to see you back!:D

Piggers I too only have online friends!

Valli re making jelly - the cherries we're getting from the farm stone very easily, so we're happy to do this - but I agree, damsons are the very devil to stone (Mr LW was given a load by a colleague when he worked at rugby); but I think it'll be jam for us this time, we like the fruit pieces in it.;) Thanks for the offer of a jelly recipe though.:o

Dancemum I could've wept for your DS when I read your post about him crying because he has no friend. I spent my entire childhood friendless, so I completely sympathise. Sadly I don't have an answer to the problem (I still have no RL friends, tbh... *rolls eyes*).

I've managed to throw the Dys0n round again, and done all the kitchen surfaces with anti-bacterial stuff, so not too bad a start, I suppose.:o Oh, and I've also tidied up the crates of stores in the spare room; if we're going to make cherry jam (scheduled for Wednesday), and then hopefully some blackcurrant jam at the weekend, if all goes according to plan, I need some space to store it!:D

ETA Hoppy Birdday to the Bumpkins Lad  - I knew there was something I'd forgotten!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thank you LW, I didn't want to upset anyone else as it's heart breaking.
He has autism and couldn't cope in main stream school so after 2 years of hell was moved to a special school. He was moved in to the senior part in June but as he is not yet 11 he feels different to the teenagers there. He really wants a friend but doesn't know how to make/ keep them.

Off to shuffle more washing. Back soon x

    Dusty that's great news too...:j

We've the animals all fed and Ozzy been took to the top of the hill so he's exhausted :rotfl:, he has to jump in the long grass still so tiny.

DW been unloaded and reloaded so I might go sort the front garden now and get the hedges cut back. DD got word of her new taxi driver so i'll give them a ring to make sure they can actually do it. The taxi firm is up near her school which is over 40 miles away so i'll be very surprised if there gonna travel the whole way down to go back up again.

Right best boss some kids about..:rotfl:
