Congrats Piggers and OH, she is just perfect.
Dusty hope DS is feeling better soon and you don't get the bug.
We're not long back but all out of car and wm on already. Plan is to see what I can get done this evening, sort DS1 with a packed lunch for tomorrow and get everyone bathed. Wee break was nice and now it's going to be a busy week (really not looking forward to it), more school uniform bits got so really only have one more shop to go to and their ready to go back.
Right best go and get stuff done.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Yay i have a bid on an ebay item I really want rid of. Now to see if any of the 34 'watchers' bid too.
Made a start in my neglected front garden, spent so much time in the back this year the front is somewhat neglected. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
WTG Dancemum!
I have been on an errand
came back
cooked lunch and did panic re-mow of garden. The new mower is fine if the grass is short and dry and lawn level. I don't think it will be staying. (insert cross smiley)
have dug up and split my primulas/cowslips and weeded between them and replanted some. they look very bedraggled atm but they are something I can, apparently, grow. I have every faith that they will revive and bloom again in spring. Going to home ironing now and do some more.
I have a new hooky thing for socks (same as Lamewolf's, it would appear) because it does make fetching in in a hurry a doddle! Was a quid form Asda in Northampton. LOL went in £1 shop with sis. Clearly not used to such places she couldn't find a SEL and was wondering what something cost...
If anyone is ever in Northampton (and is fully mobile) this is a lovely place to visit. I loved it! Kitchen was one of the first with curved edged tiles for cleaning. I like Mr Mackintosh's (or Mr Bassett-Lowke's) style!
LW was going to quote but why not shop online for undies?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Busyish day. Writing stuff this morning then a trip to the tip this afternoon and a bit of shopping. Summer will now end you know because I finally got round to buying a new cushion thing for the plastic sun lounger (I've been making do with the cushion from a bench all this time!). Right comfy it is too.
A bit of gardening has been done and a tiny bit of housework but nothing to shout home about. Chicken is in the oven for dinner so I'm now going to take something alcoholic into the garden with a book and lounge for half an hour methinks.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
