That's me back from the dentist. DD had two fillings and DS2 needed his cleaned pretty severely feeling like this worst mum in the world. I now have a denture with my two missing teeth on it. I had to take it out before I even made another appointment as I was beginning to gag. Tried it again when I came in and I did gag not pleasant. I'm so down with myself if I'd sorted the agoraphobia out years sooner I wouldn't need all this. The black dog has a lot to answer for.
Going to have caffeine and nicotine then I will make a pot of soup for dinner, I remembered to get carrots at tesco but forgot bread and lentils so DS2 will be getting sent for them now!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Good afternoon
I have been plodding away at paperwork (still ongoing), been to Mr T's for a food shop (had £9 off £60 spend). They are doing petrol vouchers again, so that was a bonus
DH has been to his appointment. They are finished for now, but will start up again with someone else in a month or so for some more 'intensive' therapy - whatever that means! He said that it is helping though. He is walking the dog now, as he won't stop following him around!!
DD1 has an interview tomorrow at the Uni bar - so she needs to get the train to Ipswich & back tomorrow. DH has an interview on Monday as wellSome job-getting vibes would be greatly appreciated for them both! (ETA DH's interview is not at the Uni bar, but the PO)
I need to put the hoover round downstairs & boss DS into cleaning out the hamster. I also need to test the smoke alarms as I haven't done that this week yet. That will give me a break from paperwork for a little while
Pigpen I hope you are ok. You seemed to be in nesting mode this morning, and you have now gone quiet! Hopefully OH is now helping out. I seriously wonder if he thinks he is one of the kids!0 -

I have found a tiny silver charm of a hammer - where did that come from?? - which I have added to the chain round my neck which already has a tiny silver heart & a tiny silver unicorn on it. The hammer is to represent a new firmness in me. Be afraid, teens.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. I've dealt with the paperwork that arrived today, 200+ emails, numerous texts, accounts, and WM. I've lost count of the number of decaf coffees I've decluttered as well but DD is still doing her room.
Plan is to go wash my hair again and have a bath so I am clean and presentable for work. Think I'll send DD down to the chippy for tea. I need to put a coat or two of coloured nailvarnish on (I have an ugly nail which I want to cover up) and then work in theory at 6pm, but a little later than that won't be too bad.I really looks like I've done nothing today but its all been computer based again
I really need to start doing admin daily again.
Catch you all later when I've finished work :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Last flurry before OH and step kids descend.
Dusted our BR and decluttered the drawer tops which were attracting guff.
Emptied airer of yesterday's load, not enough to warrant putting up the ironing board so it's in the basket and the airer is away.
Hung DS1's uniform, not detagging and name labelling until he's back from his dad's and has tried it on.
Filled in a form to take with DS2 to his dental referral, one of his baby teeth is broken and may need removing but he is petrified of the dentist so may need anaesthesiaAppointment isn't until September so I got to fill it in with my new surname
couldn't sign it though as I haven't practised my signature yet!
Off to declutter my face with an S&G No More Clogs mask -- these hormones have given me a bazillion little spotsOnce I'm out the shower I will be swiftly decluttering a large V&T!

Bonnie that is tougher but does he pay for the food he cooks himself, does he pay rent when he is at your house? Does he use your electricity? It is just sad that he doesn't want to help you with something you cannot do?
FFP you are not the worst Mum in the world; what's done is done. Did the dentist give help for future prevention, disclosing tablets to learn how to brush well? Tips on diet?
BBQ area as finished as it can be for now. Need to try to acquire an old gas canister - I'm not paying the £35 for a deposit which they want. Local tip won't let me take one, may need to try the one in the next town as I've seen loads there before. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I could sleep for a month, been to garden and dug up 3 long veg beds. Containers had to be emptied then the ground kangoed (OH's job). Not long home and I could very easily have a bath and go to bed.. Yawnnnnnnn
House is a tip and packing needs to be done so I think i'll drag all to help, plan is to be leaving by 9 tomorrow morning. I really can't wait to go away for the weekend.
Right gonna get the rubbish, toys and stuff shifted from the livingroom and kitchen and hopefully that will push me on to get the rest done.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
FFP hey, cut yourself a bit of slack! You're not the worst mum in the world, not by a very long chalk. Agoraphobia's a nasty one to tackle - I can appreciate how hard it must be, I can go outdoors ok as long as I have a dog or Mr LW with me, but dealing with people leaves me a gibbering wreck; you've done better than I'd manage in a million years! At least the children have had their teeth done, so onwards and upwards from here on. As a denture wearer myself, if you're not getting on well with it, get it adjusted if need be sooner rather than later. The last thing you want is for it to not fit right and rub ulcers in your mouth.
Mr LW called me (as usual) this afternoon, and I told him all the stuff I had to do still, and he's said he'll take an extra jam sandwich tomorrow, so I don't need to make a cake til Sunday now.:T He's asked me to do a carrot'n'orange cake, so I'll need him to get the necessary ingredients from the fruit'n'veg market Saturday.:o The choccie mousse has been made - I had some cream from the farmers market that needed using by tomorrow, so had to get on and do that.:o
Snail mail all opened, sorted, dealt with and filed, shredded or put for recycling as appropriate. Just the email to tackle now - I've weeded out the spam and am left with 18 emails to deal with.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I need to admin on DD1's lappy too and ring my pa maybe next week about a repair on that and my old one they need new connectors between power port and battery pack .. Different manufacturers yet the same annoying fault!! I need a screen for DD3's tablet too he can do that also and when he comes to get those he can change screens on DD2's phone.. We have a spare broken phone and her screen is cracked.
