He pays for his food. He uses the electricity and water. When he was back for a month he paid me what his Dad used to give me when he was paying maintenance for him (IYSWIM) - but this was like getting blood out of a stone! Then he deducted the cost of the food he had bought from this sum :wall: not unreasonable you might think but I had just told him I was struggling to meet the mortgage payment that month.
You're right it's sad. Ho hum, no more Mrs nice mother mwa ha ha I have my little silver hammer :rotfl:

Me again. No chance, really, to catch up on stuff but did notice Piggers is imminent with number-what-ever - best of luck hun - hope it all goes well....
Did the up North trip (anything, really, from here is up north!) yesterday morning and arrived back home this afternoon having attended a family function. Lovely it was! But I find the heat of London v. difficult to cope with and am glad to be back near the sea breezes!
Will do some flying tomorrow I'm sure!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Back from Froddyland. Very long day.
We bought a pair of cooked chickens and a couple of jars of curry sauce. Dinner done.
FFP don't beat yourself up. You're a great Mum.
Bonnie could you write DS a letter explaining that you don't like to ask for help but need it sometimes? Of you have to pay for things to be done you could intimate that something else would be cancelled, sky tv? Phone contract, etc? I hope your expected monies arrive soon.
pigpen I hope everything goes according to your plan.0 -

.
I bought some disclosing tabs on the way home. He did say DS2's problem was not brushing properly and to be fair it takes me all my time to get him near soap and water so its hardly surprising. The dentist did say to him at 14 its his responsibility. DD's problem is juice but I will deal with that no problem as she loves water so that's her new favourite. Mine is irn bru but to be fair when I wasn't eating that's what I lived on so without it I'd have had more than dental problems.FFP hey, cut yourself a bit of slack! You're not the worst mum in the world, not by a very long chalk. Agoraphobia's a nasty one to tackle - I can appreciate how hard it must be, I can go outdoors ok as long as I have a dog or Mr LW with me, but dealing with people leaves me a gibbering wreck; you've done better than I'd manage in a million years! At least the children have had their teeth done, so onwards and upwards from here on. As a denture wearer myself, if you're not getting on well with it, get it adjusted if need be sooner rather than later. The last thing you want is for it to not fit right and rub ulcers in your mouth.

Having had a wee greet to myself I've decided 2 fillings that are in baby teeth, teeth cleaning and a denture are not worth allowing the black dog in again so stick thrown, pot of soup on the go whenever they are hungry it's there no takers yet but they all ate about half past three. I on the other hand didn't but I hate eating myself so I will wait for someone else.
I'm having a day in the house tomorrow so that I can get something severe done in here and boy does it need it!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Hi there, you all sound really busy! I didn't get chance to post yesterday as I was helping the friend who has been ill, and housebound, for over a year now. I tidied here, left early and did his shopping, cleaned through for him, took all the rubbish out, walked into town to sort his money out, walked back, got lunch for us both, washed up, then left to do my own shopping! I was knackered when I got home, then had lots of calls re a friend's mum's illness, then rang about my poorly brother. By 9pm I was shattered and far too tired to eat properly so made a big lemony pancake - my treat if I'm weary!!
And that was my day off work!!!
Today I've cleaned all through here, hoovered, dusted, mopped the floors again, changed the bedding and washed it all, before I went to work, as I'm out all day tomorrow at a family day just north of London, and won't be home until late; then will be in Derbyshire for most of the day Saturday, visiting my brother, and don't expect to be home until mid-evening that day.
Still, at least I'll get to see some of the family, which is good. I've already washed my uniform and things I was wearing yesterday and had a quick shower - and also got everything ready for tomorrow, and should then have time for a longer shower to wake me up and time to put some make-up on so I look presentable! Well, nearly!!
Good luck and good health vibes to everyone out there especially anyone poorly. Good luck and welcome to any newbies (and new arrivals by the sound of it!). My meal beckons - I'm determined to eat early tonight! What could possibly go wrong!!
Bye for now, R x0 -
Really pleased with the start of my new flylady ways!
Up early, did a bit before work and the rest when I got home.
DD1 had cooked tea( bless her), bossed DD2 and DS to clear away, dog walked and just stopping for a cuppa.
Weather not too bad tomorrow so will put a wash on and hang out before work.
On 2 weeks leave from tomorrow night, yippee! Lots of days out planned but also lots of flying.
See you soon x0 -

I've done everything on my list except the bathroom and sorting cards for T and H *smug**If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Rowan Tree sounds like you will be near Dusty country tomorrow but I'll be in The Office territory. Enjoy your day.
HHC at 8pm anybody for last orders. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
FFP dont beat yourself up you are NOT a bad parent, all kids teeth are different even a healthy diet with too much fruit and juice can weaken enamel. big teeth havent come through yet so little one just needs reminding they are the permanent ones.
hope you are feeling much better in yourself now and please dont fret over things you cant change.
hugs to all that need oneSPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0
