fizzwhizz, thats one heck of a list. Do you have to iron the kids bedding? i iron clothes but ive never ironed a sheet or duvet cover in my life and no one has ever complained.

Heh, I have put a lot of detail into my list, which means I get to cross a lot of thing off fairly quickly, so I feel like Super Woman :D And my entrance hall is flippin' tiny so it took me all of half an hour.

I always iron bedding, not fitted sheets as that's a sure fire route to insanity and they're stretched flat anyway, but always duvet covers -- they get pretty creased as I have to dry them scrumpled on the airer. I bought new duvet sets for the three boys beds (Debenhams sale, just over £7 each :money:) and as their room is clean and tidy I'll iron those but I may think twice about doing the girls -- DD and SD are both 14 and their bedroom is a disgrace. I refuse to tidy it, they do NOTHING else to help around the house so I don't think asking them to pick up after themselves is too much to ask. The mess drives me insane but I just shut the door when they're not here; out of sight...

    So far today:

    Entrance Hall

    o [STRIKE]Clean pictures[/STRIKE]

o [STRIKE]Pull out shoe bench, clean, tidy and replace[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]Clean skirtings and radiator[/STRIKE]

o [STRIKE]Wash the front door inside and out[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]High level dusting[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]Vacuum[/STRIKE]

    Inner Hall

    o [STRIKE]High level dusting[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]Clean pictures[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]Clean skirtings and radiator[/STRIKE]

o [STRIKE]Empty airing cupboard, vacuum it out, fling any tatty towels and put everything back tidily[/STRIKE] Towels were all A-OK

    o [STRIKE]Move phone to MB[/STRIKE]

o [STRIKE]Wash down all doors and tighten knobs[/STRIKE]

    o [STRIKE]Vacuum[/STRIKE]

    Bathroom

o Wash and buff all tiles

    o Wipe walls down

o Clean radiator and skirting boards

    o Change shower curtain

    o Scrub bathroom suite

o Remove bath side panel and see whether supportsneed tightening

    o High level dusting

o Scrub and organise bathroom cabinet

o Sort through cupboards, tidy and dispose ofanything which won't get used

o Clean the window including scrubbing the frame

o Wash the door and tighten knob

    o Vacuum

    Other bits

o Iron kids bedding x 5 and make up beds (two sets of bunk beds, shoot me now :()

o As much ironing of clothes as one fill of my steam generator will allow

    o Shop for dinner

    o [STRIKE]S&S LR[/STRIKE]

My BP is usually stupidly low so no issue there... my inclination to murder people is particularly overwhelming.. you can come help slap OH silly (or some sense into him) if you wish?

I need 5 children taking for new shoes and Moomins raise sorting which usually takes about 3 weeks.

Then I need them all at dentist 3 at opticians and then there are haircuts.

Then I need uniform sorting out and undies and school stuff..

these will be brought in by children, later as I am off to Northampton. Anybody want a visitor;)?

I'm hoping DD is better - we think she was a bit bunged up (senokot has been administered) but was headachy, sicky, grumpy but no temp. She is 17; mum is close by (and better than me at this stuff anyway, she's an ex nurse;)). I have an e bay collect finishing todya but if I don't go this week I won't get a break from Villa Valli - haven't been anywhere since Budapest in 2000.

My mum's spotted a 4 day citibreak to Bruges (I am not a foreign beach in the summer person - or really anywhere foreign and hot in the summer, I'm the wrong shade) which sounds nice.

    Anyone?
I might have even coped with a visitor today, as Mr LW is wfh today, so he'd be here to keep me calm.:D

Senokot... yes, I have to take that; combats one of the side-effects of morphine. Hope DD is ok.:o

We absolutely love Bruges, been there several times, first time was our honeymoon (we married in Sept but didn't actually go away for honeymoon til Dec as Mr LW had just started a new job). This time of year, if we were there, we'd visit one of the little cafes and sit outside drinking Hoegaarden.:D

WM was on early, the washing is now on the whirligig; lasagne has been constructed, just needs cooking, then that's dins for today and tomorrow sorted.

Plan is for Mr LW to go get cherries from the farm this afternoon, then....

Won't get out of bed and moans about the vacuum cleaner being on.

I need 5 children taking for new shoes and Moomins raise sorting which usually takes about 3 weeks. I wish I was closer so I could come and help. I only have four but remember the fun/stress of shoe fitting. I tied my two youngest to a handbag stand in a shoe shop to prevent them escaping. They will never let me forget it. :rotfl:

Bed is stripped and bedding in WM. Pillows airing in sunshine as only washed last week.

I have vacuumed a rug in preparation for it goig in WM. Instructions say Dry clean only but I guess a cold wash will be okay. If not I have had it for a few years so it doesn't owe me anything.

Can I apologise for missing 'n's as I have the key missing from my laptop :D
