1 1/2 hours later mils garden looks presentable, and there a 4 huge bags of weeds and clipping to go out on friday! she was out while i did it. wonder if she'll notice LOL
i feel all itchy and scratchy now so after feeding us all and getting the cases down i may have a quick shower (i always feel grubby after a trip to the attic anyway so not going to have one now or i'll need another)SPC~12 ot 124

Dins suitably scoffed, washing up done. Been to the post office to post an item (not in town, little local PO about half a mile from us). Normally I'd go on the scooter, but the car was in the way as Mr LW's wfh, so he drove me during his lunch break. Lol, I said I could go myself and hobble the couple of steps to the box, but he was convinced I'd get lost, as the road doesn't follow the same route as the Redway, which I use with the scooter.
Got him to come out into the front garden with me while I collected some seedheads from the Nigella plants, too; glad I did, as Pepi's owner came past and was all set to chat. I'd have panicked if I'd been out there on my own. Pepi's a Yorkie, btw.:o
Mr LW is now back working (he finishes at 14:30) so I'm clearing a few online surveys from my inbox (and sneaking in here on the quiet);)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Ooops ..... I didn't even know that a bath HAD supports that needed checking!!!!!! Is that another joy I need to add to list???
SL
Hah, don't panic! The only reason I was going to check is that the bath as recently started creaking when I shower, I'm hoping that it's because the support needs tightening and not just because I have put on a few lbs  We're getting married at the end of the month and I have been taking pills to delay July's AF as she was next due on my wedding day. I'm hoping the extra weight is all water retention otherwise I'm not sure my dress is going to fit! Tomorrow is the last day of meds, I should have AF a few days after and we'll see whether my belly shrinks...
Boys bedding ironed and I kept going with the clothes until my iron was empty. All that's left are my work jeans and a pair of DS2's trousers, that aside my airer is clear and my ironing basket EMPTY! More nicotine, ironing away, make up the 5 kids beds, well earned shower, nip to Sainsbos for dinner and smoke alarm then home. I will mostly be spending this evening decluttering a large bottle of cider
Can I just say thankyou  to you all for being such a lovely, supportive bunch. My house has always been relatively tidy ('cept the aforementioned girls room) and relatively clean but *I knew* where the dirt was; after busting a gut the past three days I really feel better about it all. I'm tempted to invite MIL round so she can admire my skirting boards!0 -
It's a wrap, as they say. They shot the last scene in the graveyard at Maker church at sunset yesterday. I have 10 beds to strip and wash, and only four to remake - yay. I cried when the DoP left this morning; I never cry so I don't know what's going on there. *snif*
I haven't caught up with Fred yet, but I know Natty's cat came home - double yay.Better is good enough.0 -
Dh has gone back to work, i've spotted an empty gardne rubbish bag so going to have a HHC trimming back the borders of dead and overgrown stuff, ready for DH to mow the lawn tonight. then its attic shower and finish our room.
told the boys i want any dirty laundry from their rooms as im not washing clothes after tomorrow. (i more than likely will but it wont hurt them to be organised)
HHCx2 at 2.30 anyone?SPC~12 ot 124

Just popping in to say many many thanks for all the offers of help, spoons and posivibes that came the way of DD1. She left York at 10.01 and had made it to the youth hostel by 1pm! She even managed to come out of the correct exit ay Oxford circus - which is no mean feat. She assures me she can see M&S from her window, so I know she won't starve.
I have been on tenterhooks all day (and she was in my bed before 6.30am) and I feel I may just be able to relax a bit! I shall finish off the washing up, hang out some washing and have a cuppa!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
CY.. I'm sure she will have a wonderful time.. when is she making the return journey?
DS3 given a severe bawling out.. followed by yelling at the rest of them, and DD2's latest, for allowing him to be a tool..
OH's mother is now encouraging him to publicly humiliate me and be disrespectful.. not that that in itself shocks me but it makes me incredibly angry..
I have REALLY had enough today!!!
I'm going to scrub the bathroom to death in my fit of rage!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
pigpen - she'll be back on Monday. When we went to the Olympics we managed to stagger our events so she could rest inbetween. The convention starts tomorrow and lasts until Sunday. Fingers crossed she survives!
