Last night seemed to bring drama for everyone in my family so there were lots of tears, squabbles and general unhappiness.. I've not spoken to anyone else but it doesn't seem much sleeping went on.

My dose has spilled over into today .. KH has excelled himself again.. Once more refusing to have the children while the inhabitant is evicted so it will be staying in there forever .. Ds1 had them last time and is on a training course of some mickeys mouse nature for the next several weeks.

Summer holidays are a total write off I can't even get to buy the children new shoes for going back to school let alone a day out!!! Stupid baby should have had itself conceived a few weeks earlier and I'd be able to do these important things by now... Not fast, but I'd do them!!

Upstairs vacuuming today so I doubt I'll be much use for anything else.

    Morning everyone!

I am concentrating on just getting the basics done this week because I have a lot of other things going on. I did get the car hoovered out last night which I hate doing but it was disgusting and I am giving a friend a lift somewhere today so thats a frog I guess!

Online banking checked and spreadsheets updated first thing
    Ebay parcels ready to go
    Work this morning
Taking the kids to a local country show this aft
Will do a dust and hoover in our bedroom and landing later.

    Need to get moving now!

hope things sort themselves out and something comes up in time for the birth pigpen. how long are you usually in hospital for?

fizzwhizz, thats one heck of a list. Do you have to iron the kids bedding? i iron clothes but ive never ironed a sheet or duvet cover in my life and no one has ever complained. Rome wasn't built in a day so dont expect to be able to transform your house overnight or youll just exhaust yourself

Until they give me the discharge papers to sign myself out because KH won't have the girls overnight and that means I have to be home by 8pm at the latest... Going to be fun if it arrives at 7:30 :p

    Good morning :D

There will not be much flying here today as we are off to London for the day - Science Museum, British Museum or anything else free :p We can't afford a holiday this year, so we need to have at least a couple of days out. We plan to go to Chessington as well - using nectar points. We have booked 2 nights camping - in a field about 10 miles away!! We know how to live! ;)

I managed to bleach the scrubbing brushes yesterday, and sweep/mop the bathroom floor. Also spent a lot of the day sorting photos for a couple of frogs. They have been ordered - but they took ages to sort out, upload etc!!

I am still in panic mode about Ofsted turning up at any time - another good reason to go out for the day!!

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them. I will catch up later

  • WM 1 pegged out. Stripped DD's bed and her duvet is in the WM at the mo. Folded and put away 3 baskets of washing and had 2 cuppas.

I woke up with no agenda for today, but then made a list - silly me!!!!! I am now frog chomping lots of bitty little things which will only take up the morning, but I am sick of constantly writing them down.

Will make a fish pie, lamb and cauliflower curry, sag aloo and a BBQ sauce for the LO pork from the roast and that will be this week's meals sorted so no more cooking for me. DD enjoys helping so that is her day occupied too.

Promised the children we'd get the bikes out and go for a jaunt today, so at least I've built in some quality time with them. Haven't been on my bike since we moved her 2 years ago. There's a hill in every direction once you step off the driveway. DD will not be impressed!

Have I actually done anything off the lists this week? Not sure, however, I've been like a little a flying butterfly, flitting from bit to bit and dealing with it as and when.

Garden has been mowed and I want to sweep up some leaves out the front and rehome the gravel out of the drainage channel and back onto the car parking area. DS can help with that. There's only 25ft of it :rotfl:
