Index closing down bargains - finally closes on 25th July (Merged)

I went to the Wrexham store yesterday with my printouts of the reservations. One had a Henry Hound Vac the other had the MP3 player. They let me have the vac BUT NOT THE PLAYER! The server had a strange look on her face when she keyed in the MP3, she then keyed in the vac and confirmed that it had gone up and she would let it go through at the sale price. Then she want back and keyed in the player again and said it had gone up and I couldn't have it at sale price!!! She went off and checked with superviser and stuck to her guns. I think there may have been a not on the screen that possibly a staff member had realised what was going on and nabbed the player for themselves.... :mad:

typical! Argos staff love doing that!

Well the Dunfermline brach honoured the price I reserved the hp 7450 printer at. Picked it up on Friday £41 no probs.

Only thing is the cheapskates at HP did not include a USB cable or a black print cartridge - now that is tight!!!

I'm well peeved with Index, I reserved Halo 2 online & asked a family member to collect it for me as they work in Index. When she tried to collect it it had been sold but they are trying to transfer 1 in for me from elswhere, what's the point in the reservation system if they don't hold the stuff?

Offers seem to be back on in Index shops, well at least some of them are anyway.

5 no. Sharp GX 15 phones available in Carlisle Index at 12.00 noon today at £49.97 each according to the stock checker in the shop.

I picked up a 15point diamond cluster ring in local index store today.

Looks like sale is back online - not quite as much off as before but still bargains on there. Trawling through there now - if I find anything good I'll post it!
