Everybody has a wobble and like you, I don't have missed payments, late charges and I'm not robbing Peter to pay Paul... My day for wobbling will be Sunday as I am home alone all day and the boredom may strike!
A take away isn't the end of the world and I'm sure you had a lovely evening with your neice
Keep your head up, it's a marathon not a sprint and we all need to re adjust and recharge out motivation now and again.
Pooch is brighter thanks, back to vets next week though!

Thanks, yes in whole scheme of things it's not been a bad week. Spent a total of £19.09 since Saturday ( takeaway and few bits of shopping) . That could have gone on nothing a month ago so shouldn't be hard on myself.
As you say it's a marathon not a sprint.
Off to calculate what's in the bank to see if I can make another payment xxxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Well today wasn't quite an nsd but only a £1.35 spend. Overal in the past week I have spent around £40 which includes a takeaway, food shopping for the week, including lunches and other bits and bobs.
To some people £40 is a lot of money but if I can manage that budget most weeks I shall be able to make inroads into my loan. However I have also found it quite tough at times and felt guilty for minor purchases. So made a decision that I really don't need to be as strict with myself all the time.
This month I have left myself with minimal funds so from next month I'm going to give myself a more relaxed budget. I will still be able to pay off my my remaining store card and will still be able to overpay on my loan. It might just take an extra month or so to get to being DF.

That sounds fair, it can be hard when you try to be stringent....
Food shopping for us today which was just under £35 for the week which is great! Downside is that I've had to pay for a prescription and those are so expensive these days... If only we lived in Wales!
MOT looms and I'm trying to squirrel some money for that as no doubt some work will be required!
I don't really have NSD's as I have a payment a day via the other thread but if I didn't count those I reckon I would have a fair few over the month!
I'm so determined to get rid of my debts ad start chipping away at the mortgage...
Trouble is, life gets in the way!

Hi LMD
Prescriptions are ridiculous, doesn't seem fair that depending on where you live decides whether you pay or not.
I wouldn't include payments in nsd as they are payments and are stepping stones to your goal. Every day you are nearer to your target.
£35 for a weeks shopping - fantastic. I'm really pleased this week as I haven't thrown a thing away, food wise. Think I need to eat a few more veggie meals to keep costs down.

Do you know, I was just saying that to hubby as we watched the Nigel Slater cookery programme, he was not convinced but I think veggie meals would be a great way to keep costs down.
So honey, we are at another weekend and you're surviving your budgeting... You should be proud and even though you will have more flex in your budget next month I know you will remain focused on becoming debt free just like me

Had a lovely day today. Went over to my parents, did a bit of food shopping for them and spent some quality time with them. Went out for lunch with my mum and my aunty - who is 88 and absolutely fantastic and my cousin. Had a really nice afternoon.
On my way home did my food shop for the week ( well majority) spent £15.75, mainly fruit, veg, bread but did get coffee and bin bags.
We are moving offices in a fortnight and it seems to be party time, I have been based there 25 years so a lot a memories are there. Every one is starting to bring biscuits and chocolates in so shall have to pop out and get some - do you have any idea where there are special offers on nice biscuits.
I did nearly get some from lidl today, but unfortunately I work with a group of snobs ( who outwardly seem to be very comfortable financially - but obviously don't know) so didn't. So shall have to get some tomorrow. Don't want to spent more than £ 4 as would like to keep my food shop to less than £20 if I can.
Had some potatoes to use up - made some saut! potatoes for tea and about to cook the remaining to make into potatoe salad. I, thrilled tat I'm using things rather than throwing stuff away.

Asda usually have some nice biccies at not a lot of money so you could try there... Or - grab some cookie mix from Tesco and make your own! They can't turn their noses up at your efforts can they?
I grabbed a couple of boxes of choc chip muffin mixes as they were on offer for 50p a box (on Friday so should be still on) and don't have a use by date til 2014
Not sure if this link will work as on my mobile bu I will try! http://m.tesco.com/mt/www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=260496383
Hubby had been baking buns today for his day out tomorrow... There doesn't seem to be a spare one for me to taste though!
Glad you've had a good day darls x
