We are all on countdown to pay day now I think... I live tinned pears so I am quite jealous of your breakfast! Might have to pick some up at the supermarket tomorrow
Glad you are enjoying the PADding! A treat will give you something to look forward to on the weekend though.

Well I was going to do an online shop - booked the slot, placed the order, then cancelled it. Decided that as I was going to my mums I would get the basics from lidl( hassle of getting it home I know). Spent £13.94 mainly on fruit, veg, sausages, bread and yogurts. I've come home and just done a price comparison of similar items and it would have cost £20.10. That's just mad. 40p for a red pepper compared to 80p.
So yes I know it's a hassle getting it home but the savings are worth it. Shall still have to get a few freezer bits tomorrow but nearly done for the week.
£1 PAD to my emergency fund.
I paid my mum the money for the bits she'd got me during the week. I think now she sees that I am going to pay for them , she won't instantly pick things up without checking I want them. Will save her money too.
The rest if the day is going to be spent chilling and relaxing, cleaning can wait till tomorrow xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

A nice quiet day for me. Just what I needed.
Popped out this morning and got a Sunday paper and a couple of bits I didn't get yesterday so only £3.68 spent.
Was tempted to go into leeds but know if I start looking I will want so have spent the afternoon watching the Grand Prix. Before anyone mentions it, my dad has sky sports so I watch it on sky go for no cost.
What I have been doing is day dreaming about getting a positive result from my ppi claim. I know I probably shouldn't as I will feel disappointed if it's negative but it's only like considering winning the lottery, I suppose with slightly better odds. I don't want much just maybe a couple of thousand to break the back of the loan and then have the knowledge that the majority of the payments are not going to pay just interest.
Right now back to reality, worked out that I am due a pay rise ( specifically for the job I'm am doing) in January. The pay rise should be around £200 per month after tax. So guess where that will go. I can increase the monthly payment from £175 to around £485 ( if I include the store card payments and PADing). Using the snow ball calculator on this basis it would take me 17 months to clear my debt. Which considering it was a five year loan and I only started paying July 2013 this would be great. Once I get my pay rise I shall pop it in the calculator and work out my debt free day.
Right off to look at some more ppi success stories.

Another Monday done... Why are they so tiring?
A week till pay day. This time next week spreadsheets will be updated, the bank balance will look healthier and I will be another month closer to being debt free. Pay slips on the system at work today so know how much I'm going to be paid so can start calculating.
Have been watching adpoints (60 this evening) I know its not much but I always equate it to how much I would have had to spent to get the points. By Christmas there may be enough points to get a few treats.
£1 to the emergency fund today, doesn't seem much but really does add up.
Still day dreaming about a ppi pay out.

Well another NSD today and quite an easy one too, as I'm feeing very focused.
Had a fantastic night last night, went to a cupcake evening, it involved eating lots of home made cakes and drinking the strongest black coffee I have ever had in my life and then learning how to ice cupcakes. Some fantastic people and lots if fun. It was a groupon offer and a treat from my niece.
Looking forward to pay day, good news is that I won't have to find fares to travel to Harrogate on Friday so an extra bit in my pocket ( or a PAD ) over the weekend hopefully.
Coming home everyday hoping that I would have a letter regards my ppi, but so far nothing. It's nearly 8 weeks since I posted the complaint so starting to feel impatient. I know I will be disappointed if it's a negative response but at the moment I just want to know and I want to know NOW!!
So a nice chilled night for me, trying not to think about wishing my life away.
A xx
Ooh have you tried cronuts? Cross between a doughnut and a croissant. Had one with a strawberry and mascarpone filling - yum !!
