Apparently you can get conditioners that shampoo your hair as well if you know what I mean, I do know a lot of people like to use conditioner only. I was reading an article about whether people should use conditioner only and the advice was no.
It doesnt clean your hair v well, it coats it. In my pic my hair is straight but thats me just out of the hairdresser, I have very wavy hair and it goes curly in the heat
To the point where getting a brush through it even with layers can be hard without a decent conditioner
Yes, I use those too.
You know, advice is what it is. I have done this for a few years now, and frankly, my hair is pretty amazing:o. I'm content I'm doing ok. My hair is super curly, and apart from days like today when I haven't wet it for um, a few days, it looks pretty great. I have had a few problems with it. I have hypothyroidism, and a problem where my hair thinned quite dramatically, but since changing how I care for it its looking pretty great again, and I get compliments a lot.
My husband also lo poos. He has psoriasis. His scalp psoriasis has almost totally gone away low pooing. So.....its great for Us, If we had different hair I'm sure it would be far to 'heavy'.
I do shampoo occasionally. I will next be shampooing next Thursday, when its highlighted again.0 -

I would imagine the curlier your hair is, the more you could wash it with just conditioner
I have curly hair but I couldnt get away with that, it just makes my hair lank and I need a bit of shampoo0 -

Genetics gave me straggly wavy dark hair that starts breaking if it gets longer than collarbone length.
Ah well, maybe one day I'll buy a wig!
That's how mine is when I relax the curls out a littleI generally can't be arsed though so lots of curls it is!
If I had her face I may make the effort more often:rotfl: Would rather have straight hair I could have cut in any style I wanted thoughIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

My hair is never lank if I take care of it. It might go lank if I didn't do anything to it for a week.:D0 -
We all have different hair types though dont we? Even though Ive got curly hair which is on the dry side, it needs washed every 2 days, 3 tops or else the roots look greasy
My mum has very fine straight hair and shes never used conditioner in her life. I also have fine hair but I have a lot of it and I cant remember the last time I washed my hair without having conditioner to hand
I wouldnt be able to get a brush or comb through it otherwise.0 -
All this talk about dressing your age has made me think of a woman I worked with.
I've known her for nearly 25 years and she has never changed her clothing style, and she's never dressed in what society would deem to be age appropriate.
Her style is long pleated skirts, twinset and pearls and a tightly permed hair style that your nan might have had in the 60's. Plus frumpy shoes.
She's dressed like that since she was 30 (and probably before that too), and has regularly been mistaken for someone who is at least 20 years older than her actual age.
She's now 55, and even now her clothing style is not age appropriate. With changing fashions, I don't think her clothes will ever be age appropriate.
But it's her choice, so good luck to her.
Thought I'd mention it as dressing your age isn't always about dressing 'too young'. It can be dressing too old as wellEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I remember visiting my dad once and he asked me when I was going to start wearing something more appropriate to my age. When I asked him what, he said "Well, a twin set or something..."
I was 30!0 -

Exactly, that's the point I made up the page a bit!0 -
Gloomedoom you're evidently a sly one. Perhaps some clogs would help that gloomy heart of yours0
