I know, but I simply can't walk in anything without heels. I don't own a pair of flats or flip flops, even the mules I wear as slippers have a 2" heel.
I can't either so live in heelsEven my foamy flip flops have wedge heels!

It linked to this, about having longer hair after age 40. I like her hair longer

She looks a lot better with longer hair, it does make her look younger.
My Aunty who at the time was in her 60's, had really long hair, half way down her back, and it wasn't until she got it all cut off that everyone realised just how much it had aged her. So I guess it must depend on the person and the shape of their face.0 -

You can even get wellington boots with a little heel now. My colleagues could not believe it when I turned up in them for a day of orienteeringThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

How often do you have to replace extensions though? My hair is short and I often think about growing it but when it gets to a certain in between length I get tired of it and have it cut.
I think they do suit the woman in the pic, they do make her look younger, but imagine if you went to all that trouble and the reverse happened!!0 -

When me and my friend were at College, all the girls bar us had a perm, we had (and still do), long straight hair, had a bit of the goth look going on! We used to say how even when we were grey and old, we'd still have the long hair!
I've been thinking of getting it cut for quite a while now, just to have a change, but I keep on wimping out, it feels like a security blanket to me!0 -

I can around the house but can't walk much flat footed outdoors,if I go uphill for a bit I get crippling pain in my calves that has me in tears.
Started wearing heels daily at 14..

In all seriousness, I would keep trying. I know you are a carer for your son, and if you chad an accident a quick return to full mobility cupola make a huge difference to the pair of you.
i'll never be against heel wearing so long as you stretch out the other way to counteract it and are comfortable flat too.. (I know all the arguments against, but I love them too, but as heel lovers we should really do our best to protect our selves against the ill effects, because it is possible.
