Ndg - not as yet but we will do eventually.
PN - I see it as the last thing a parent needs to do before they wave their child off into adulthood, plus he will need all the pennies he can get for his time at uni!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Thanks. Makes perfect sense once it's been explained, but you can see why it was mystifying to someone who hadn't heard it put that way before.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Absolutely.
Its not something I use, but I know people who swear by it to get them through life.

Its just been a series of misadventures really. Started with favourite client, with whom I had a hot drink and then told her calmly it wasn't her day to be here and I had someone else doing in twenty minutes time.
. Which was fine.
Twenty minutes time is lovely but v. Hard work. I'm tired, which is not twenty minutes time's fault but twenty minutes time takes me two hours each time they visit, which is a bit of a pain, because it shouldn't really.
Even the chickens were grumpy today, lots of scuffles out there.
Then an accident and hasty directions to a and e (nothing grievous I think, but lots of blood and a young person, probably a clue of stitches, hopefully not a broken nose, just a nosebleed too, but lots of blood and gonna be one hell of a shiner and a very nasty facial bruise too.)
Then casual worker not meant to be here today rolls up and wants to do stuff and I just said 'nope' so he got huffy, but I'm too tired to supervise today and had no idea he was coming so....I guess sue would say she had run low on spoons,
So had to go and sort out what a and e person was doing before a and e (which might just in fact also be delaying calling a vet) . So meant tramping across the field AGAIN, (feel like I have tramped back and forward all day, in truth its only been four times, ) to start again. Silly think is of course, only takes me a couple of minutes to do alone.
Now I should be mixing my dog food but I need to sit for a while to recover:o. Its a day I haven't even kept up with chores either out there or in the house (I don't bother trying to make headway most weekdays ATM) because running after everyone else.0 -
Have heard from a and e and its all just supervicial. Phew.
. Still treading water here though.

Shall I disillusion you? They come back needing more help with different things. and I'm still looking for evidence that they are completely off the payroll.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Big relief!
DS2 went to help at a special needs youth camp today. We hadn't realised it was residential until he was accepted.
