NDG, I love seeing your jewellery. I think you are very clever and I love seeing creations.
. I wish pastures would too.......
I found there is a bead shop near me doing jewellery making classes. They are 'up market beads' and I like them, but not sure if the jewellery making would just be ....stringing beads. Doesn't sound that fun if so.
Because I'm not always that dexterous it could also be a really frustrating day, if I cannot even string beads!0 -

And if you try to pin them down with black/white plain English, they go all artsy fartsy and airy fairy ... and still don't answer the actual question.0 -
I wouldn't bother with classes for that kind of thing - much more fun to learn on your own, by trial and error....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

If I need to write, or type, I tuck the phone between my ear and shoulder, or put it on speaker.PasturesNew wrote: »I am creating new accounts for everything on my phone.... but I've used my RL firstname, wish I hadn't already!
I think Gwendolyn-Amalfia is a gorgeous firstname, I don't know why you don't use it all the time, as well as in RL....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I like the first one. and would wear it. The second one is nice but not for me.
My take on swarovski jewellery is that you get a lot for your money. Obviously you can buy £4.99 pieces of jewellery from places, but once you hold them you can see they are tat and they generally break very quickly. If you want to buy jewellery and are not going to get real diamonds / gold/ silver then I think swarovski is the next best thing - established brand, crystals that act like crystals without pretending to be diamonds.

I like the first one too. I sometimes wonder if silvercar (and now doozer) have similar taste to me in jewellery terms.
They will probably both be horrified at the thought of this, particularly after I mentioned the other day how I can have trouble stringing a matching pair of socks together some mornings. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Apart from might be nice to do in a group with other 'middle class, middle income, middle imagination' bracket women. Who I'll probably despair of :rotfl:;):o0 -

Personally I quite like them. I clearly have never partied enough though to be able to confirm the description though. All my socks are black. It was to avoid the matching problem, but now most of those don't match either. If I really feel I need a matching pair, I raid DS or DH sock drawer.
I do have some fluffy indoor socks that are colourful but often end up wearing one fluffy sock, one regular.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
