I usually have staff for that sort of thing:) They would be horrified at me having such responsibility. I am legendary at breaking technology.
When do I have to do it?
Just to be clear, if it intimidates you you do not HAVE to, its meant to be inclusive and lovely, not lay awake at night sweating!
Um.....
Next round number isn't it?0 -
May be at the next NP meet up we should choose an NP with a suitable house and get together the equipment and NDG can do a jewellery making masterclass?0

A mate of mine is in Guatemala on hols (he calls it 'traveling' but it's really a holiday).
Why do people call it traveling? It's a holiday and their tourists/holidaymakers not travelers. It's fake gravitas.
One of my team has a best friend who lives in Guatemala (team member was at Uni there before LSE here) and has had a recent visit from friend and got them to bring over fabulous coffee...and I am lucky enough to have been given a bag.:j0 -
I did my usual trick of "belly full of hot food .... nod off". All groggy now.
All I had was 2 sausages, 1/4 of a small onion, 170g of puff pastry (which is probably actually a LOT).0 -

That's exactly what would put me off (-:
My imagination is a limited and delicate flower, and I think classes would rob me of inspiration.May be at the next NP meet up we should choose an NP with a suitable house and get together the equipment and NDG can do a jewellery making masterclass?
I'm no master! Just like doing it and have practised a few techniques, nothing fancy....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I am watching Tudor Farm. Missed the first half.0

It never ceases to amaze me that some people know how certain things taste that would certainly never go near my mouth...
How did Tolkien write a convincing book about elves and hobbits? Extrapolation and imagination.
Doozer, I think they smell like cat fart.
Its weird. I don't particularly like twig lets, but I always feel like trying one if I see them. Then I taste it and feel that.....'it this like or dislike?' Quandary. I neither like nor dislike marmite either. I prefer Vegemite to marmite. I prefer marmite that's been mixed with butter to neat marmite. I prefer twig let to marmite.0 -

But you see, you are with people more often.
I'm trying to be less curmudgeonly and more sociable. I need a reason to be.0 -
OH and I have just been discussing potential names for the baby. There's a big restriction in that it must make sense in both England and in Israel. That rules out some names I like, such as Charlotte.
We also can't go for names which sound as if they end or might end with much of a vowel, because of the surname.
But the biggest problem is OH - he doesn't seem to like any names. He said "No!" emphatically to almost all of them, and "maybe" with a very dubious look to a few. I asked him to think of just one name of each gender that he actually liked, and he struggled. Eventually he did decide he didn't actually hate Noah (whcih is out because of the sound at the end) and Naomi.
So poor little sod will probably be Baby NDG until it reaches adulthood!
Some examples - Jonathan (No!), Joseph (No!) David (too commonly-used) Nathan (teenage arsonist), etc....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
