I've made an order of them and some others which should fill his stocking. I've got to do socks next, he also wants some bright coloured socks.

Re dining tables, we are going to need a long and narrow one, ( my least favourite shape) for the garden room when its done. The garden room is narrow and not sure how it will all work or what sort of chairs.

    [QUOTE=PasturesNew;63956960

So I've never really 'known' my cousins and uncles/aunts beyond the fact they exist and we'd meet with them 2-3x a year... and we stopped going on Boxing Day from about the early 80s.....[/QUOTE]

I have few cousins, but none in this country. I was an awkward age, born in between generations, so wouldn't naturally have been close to any of them anyway.

Dh's cousins and siblings are similar ages, it makes a big difference.

I have loads of cousins: 16 full and 4 half first cousins, and a bunch of second cousins, cousins once removed and so on.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

This is a well known scam, hack someone email account and get money sent over.

I don't even know why you would exchange emails with your taxi driver, but if he is emailing you, he must be emailing everyone he knows. I would suspect it is a scam. If you fall for it then expect the request for more money. I also worry that it may be a way to get info from you. Certainly a risk he can find your bank details and there may be an attempt to get money out of your bank account.
I think so too. Trev if the guy can confirm some detail only he would know then this might be genuine, otherwise I'd steer clear. I've recieved one of those "I've lost my wallet while I'm in Ukraine" emails from a mate. I left it alone.
a] Type what numbers into it?
b] OK, I'll look at their tariffs, still go chummy's link open and still blown away with all that information/lost completely in it
c] OK, but if I do that I need that before I leave home tomorrow. Not entirely sure who I phone. I say Tmobile, but it's through Utility Warehouse.

Your telephone numbers are what you type in. That might actually be quite quick although there's a chance of errors creeping in if you've got fat fingers like me. Saves faffing wound with cutting cards etc. Life's too short.

Most of these deals turn out to be at least £10 per month. I'm on Talkmobile essentials with 8p/min 4p per text and 25p per day data as PAYG and put in a fiver every few months. My workmate was telling me he's on Ovivo and has already saved money on it. He doens't find the ads too intrusive. Three's 3-2-1 tariff looks incredible but another mate found their signal reception poor and their staff swore it was great in his area, so I'm biding my time before I switch.

    But they're without fly!

I've never worn underpants without a fly.

Thanks for adding in a new level of fear and worry .... I wanted to keep the old number as it's on CVs and the only number I've ever had .... so anybody/everybody's got it as my one contact number.

Ergo - I probably have to give Ovivo a miss then!

While I could give friends my new number .... the number's out there with others over the years. CVs, old employers, old/random 'friends', old online friends, just 'everybody'.

I thought you said that you still had several months to run on your existing phone contract? In that case, why not keep your existing phone with your existing number and just put a new Sim in the new phone?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Ah, but is that because it's Lidl, or because it's light? "Light" usually means less fat, less flavour, more who-knows-what-artificial-junk, and more sugar.

I'd imagine that because most flavour chemicals are fat-soluble esters, lighter, low-fat cheese would be less tasty much as lean meat is often blander.

DH has. I know he is ok with flyless pants. He's more concerned with fit.

I agree that it looks decidedly odd. However, it's very popular. Most people take the view that, even if it turns out to be a Ponzi scheme, it's a good bet for £20. You'd pay more than that for a decent package for 2 months at Giff Gaff. I just wouldn't transfer your number to Ovivo, as you might not get it back if they collapse.

Ah yes- there's a potential problem with switching to a lesser known service; if anything goes wrong with its business model or finances you may not be able to port your mobile number back out to a new service and lose it for good, so it may not be worth it for you. I'm wary of that as I want to keep my number for good!

Oh thank god.... I feel such a "nuisance" and in the way of "a proper good chat".... now I don't feel so guilty :)

I'm such an idiot about these things :)

    Omg, neither of those :rotfl:

Thats what your froends here are for!!!

I couldn't even begin to work out phones these days. I got a sim for macputer week before last , it all went wrong and I returned it last week. I might try again one day, but I did want I wanted to do with sim by using screen shots instead. Less comprehensive, but sufficient......barely.
