I think which rice tastes nice depends what the meal and mood is.

I so agree with this. I personally feel that there are certain food combinations which go together, & others which don't. I have a particular friend who I argue with a lot about wierd food combinations they have.

One particular bone of contention, for me at least, is their preference for baked beans with mashed potatoes. To me, that is just wrong! Mash has veg, peas, (garden or mushy), and/or gravy. But not baked beans!:naughty:

    There are others...

I thought the sub-cut should stop dehydration, don't know that you would notice much change visibly. Fading away is a slow process and very difficult time for you. I hope you have some real support and are remembering to eat yourself. Always here if you want to post.

I agree that mashed potato and baked beans should be kept apart. Also mashed potato and ketchup. Yuck.

I eat a lot of mash and beans.
    Pie/mash/beans; flan/mash/beans; cheese/potato pie and beans.
    Even just mash and beans!

While pie/veg/mash/gravy is nice, beans are quicker/easier to cook ... and cheery :)

Similarly fish and chips only ever with peas, not beans.

If anybody can answer this, maybe we can get together and get a bulk discount to have them all wrapped up and sent off.

Do you think there'd be cashback?

How appropriate is is for a nineteen year old to contact an estranged relative to ask for help with university homework? If her prep aren't doesn't want contact is it ok to reply as the nineteen year old is an adult?

If you are estranged from the parent not the child and the child is now an adult and you are happy to talk to the child then why not?

On the other hand the child may be doing it in part as a rebellion against their parent in which case do you want to be involved in that sort of game?
    I think....
