Lydia wrote about hot choclate pudding in its own sauce a little while ago.

It inspired me to make it tonight (we call it debden chocolate pudding). It has taken an hour and three quarters and the sponge is only just set.

Heavens knows what it will taste like or even f we hav eteh appetite for it after dinner.

We have a lamb casserole . OH has spent the day in the middle of nowhere shooting and is now in the bath trying to warm up. DD has been riding and doing 2 equines from 1-5pm so is shattered (she is out of practice for doing more than one - appreciate LiR will think 2 is nothing) but is making herself steak and blue cheese sauce then going to bed.

Nope, lir thinks people do what they do. Any change from routine is tiring!

Happy birthday Silvercar ... hadn't picked up on it earlier as I thought yours was in the week sometime.

Is there a contest for the biggest font/cake with the most jiggly people?

Anybody got a clue how old SC is???

Yes. Sorry about the smileys, I spend too much time in the Arms!

Should have spotted SC's birthday as it has been acknowledged elsewhere.:o

Yes, I know how old she is.:)
For the next question the answer will be no, that's her business.:naughty:

But my Inbox is empty and my lips are sealed!

I've no idea if she's as old as me, or 10-15 years younger

Sorry to hear about the tonsilitis doozer.

Back in my day you'd be lucky to still have your tonsils if you had even one sore throat.

Now they'd have to be audibly throbbing, swelling to the size of spacehoppers and glowing in the dark before they do anything more than give antibiotics.:(

    Tell me about it :(

Ironically, an appointment time with an ENT specialist dropped through the letterbox this morning. I am going to take H with men this time and beg. I don't get it as often as I did, but the annual winter tonsilitis has a habit of turning into something which ends up in me being tested for glandular fever after about a month. It totally wipes me out. I can't deal it.

We should be at a ball in the great hall at Birmingham University. I'm trying to watcher Doctor Who but I've never been able to work out what is going on. I don't have the imagination for sci-fi.

  • Happy Birthday Silver! Hope you have a great time in Spain.

Sorry you're on the sick list Cinders, <hugs>

I have my tonsils, appendix and spleen. Those are most of the bits you can manage without, aren't they? I have all my own teeth, too, no fillings (yet).

I watched it too. I used to watch it in the mid/late 60s ... and as it was on I thought I'd leave it on .... and I didn't really know what was going on.

And if I had to explain what went on I'd be concluding with "So I've no idea what was going on really"

A bunch of Drs met up, somehow - not sure why. They reversed something one of them did years ago; that meant they hadn't destroyed the planet Time Lords came from, just moved it, so it was possibly/probably out there somewhere..... so now future Drs can try to get to it.... I guess.

    All a bit pointless really.
