I'll be busy that day.
We've had a frustrating day of waiting for people and being frustrated by them, Had to move horses four times. Twice for people who didn't show up which is especially annoying.

I've got tonsilitis. Been in bed all day. I'm sort of at the point where if I were wrapped in cotton wool a bit, I could go and sit and observe, maybe, maybe not. It probably wouldn't be all that sensible. Really disappointed and a bit tearful. We don't go out all that much anymore.

Oh Doozer, how frustrating and disappointing.
<hugs>Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Hope you feel better soon Doozer0

Sorry to hear about the tonsilitis doozer.
Back in my day you'd be lucky to still have your tonsils if you had even one sore throat.
Now they'd have to be audibly throbbing, swelling to the size of spacehoppers and glowing in the dark before they do anything more than give antibiotics.:(There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
