Found it ... went all the way round looking for the word "Horizon" ..... got back to the start and went past it again but brain registered the word "Comet"

I was thinking earlier about this - about 10 minutes ago - and wondering how/where I'd see it

It's boring now ... with lots of boring voiceover and boring men talking boring stuff...... I hate the production, not the subject.

It's a combination of being dumbed down enough ... with commentary for 8 year olds, which is confusing/annoying ... so then I switch off and then I've missed bits.

    ... and it's not Yoor-Ern-Ooos.... it's Your Anus!

I read an article earlier today, which is also from BBC. Here's a link:

There's a chart at the bottom showing when/where to look (assuming it doesn't burn up).

Sort of show that makes HD worthwhile but I have been outvoted.

    I thought it was urine-us?

I watched it too. I used to watch it in the mid/late 60s ... and as it was on I thought I'd leave it on .... and I didn't really know what was going on.

And if I had to explain what went on I'd be concluding with "So I've no idea what was going on really"

A bunch of Drs met up, somehow - not sure why. They reversed something one of them did years ago; that meant they hadn't destroyed the planet Time Lords came from, just moved it, so it was possibly/probably out there somewhere..... so now future Drs can try to get to it.... I guess.

    All a bit pointless really.

The zag family watched it and we enjoyed it. DS didn't get all the references. It wasn't gooing to convert non-fans to fans but it was brilliant for those already converted.

They usually reverse "the polarity of the field" which is more than enough to defeat any alien power.:T

This whole post-2005 reboot has been up and down but overall a god move.
I did ask a while back if anyone thought there were other series we should revive.
    Tomorrow's World?
    Top of the Pops?
    Jackanory?
    Anything?

The nice man at the end was quite clear (usually they're not). He pointed at the sky and said "From 3 December, before sunrise, look to the East". That's my type of instruction :)

I've never seen a comet before ..... never remembered/never knew when or where to look.... back in the days when information wasn't everywhere it'd have simply been a column in a newspaper and soon forgotten.

    I loved it.

There's a hilarious comedy drama on the red button right now where Peter Davidson, Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker are trying to find a way to get into the special 50th episode. Lots of cameos from others in the show over the years.

I've never discovered what this "red button" thing is .... but £1 says I don't possess it.

Maybe that should be another NP question. Tonsils or none? I'm guessing there will be a division along age lines as as per zag, I had a sore throat when I was a kid and therefore am without.

Still have mine and that is despite repeat infections....they didn't seem to like taking them out here.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Happy belated birthday Silvercar xx

Loved the Doctor Who special, James went to the cinema to watch it, endured a power cut and power surge and still absolutely loved it.
