You KNOW the Hospital would never believe the story..... and would invent their own. You'd become "That kinky couple that tried S&M with glass" ... or ... "That mad b1tch that could have sliced that guy's !!!! off ... and then they made up that crazy story"0 -

Remember - any new people I meet don't know I'm speshul, so after 10 minutes they'll just think I'm odd but won't know why.
Haha, I think your manners ar fine. I wouldn't have picked up on it I don't think, but then, I wouldn't have known what to look for, you have taught me SO MucH about what to be considerate of in other people.:)0 -

Put me in a bar, that I have to find, find the door to, find the group, introduce myself, struggle at the bar to get attention/get served, then try to make small talk with a group of people who already know each other, in a crowded place ... and it goes t1ts up.0 -

Could be a good day out for you!
Naaah, sorry PN, think might have put my foot in it. I asked if the Lesbians were looking for bikes and baby oil, and missed the mushroom bit out!
Thought i might try the Naturist Holiday Mates, that sounded like a bit of fun. Really getting my hopes up that some fit, twenty five year old, something, looking blonde might be interested, in a balding, slightly overweight 59 year oldSeems like it's a 'boys only' thing

There's a local group that does coffee and cake once a month, so I've signed up to that and will be going to a meetup in February. :eek:0

Our kids are so sheltered from the nasty side of life that they still don't get the 'fork on, fork off' joke that I rather naughtily inroduced as a practice phrase for DD2 when she was having speech therapy for her 'f's (used when setting the table for example). I was really surprised when DD1 came back with some choice words written in her note book by a classmate and it wasn't one of the classmates I would have expected.
However it is probably now reaching the stage where we do need to start letting her know much more (she is 9, 10 next summer) as I also don't think it is fair on her to be the one who has no clue what her classmates are talking about and getting teased for it. May be time for a quick google for suitable teaching material (with DW or I doing the googling and filtering of results!)
Michael's, the local library has books on stuff like that, or the big one should anyway. DW should be able to reserve a selection foc if you reserve on DDs library card. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
