  • It's what she expects, it's what you want ..... so that's a winner.

If you do the other things she'll be suspicious of you, so there's no winner.

    Nah!

OH did loads of tidying, sorting and cleaning last weekend when Isaac and I were in Kent, and I was properly appreciative, not suspiciously as all.

Gorgeous! How long did she keep them on for? Avatar-dog would have shaken them off his head within seconds. :)

She wants them back on. :rotfl: she had them on for about five minutes, certainly not much longer, but I removed them.

I've bought three pairs and hope to take a picture of all three to sent to family before Christmas.. I'll only have a narrow window in which to do it because big dog will come into season in not too long after dog dog is out..

I'm not a fan of dogs in clothes for the sake of it, bu dog dog does like clothes. Earlier she was wearing a fleece blanket with her fluorescent vest over it, and I had my hands full so I 'asked' her how she felt about head phones round her neck for me, and she wasn't bothered at all, and when I took them off pestered me for them back. She doesn't like some fastenings and I don't think most animals like things on their heads much, but she was laughing and grinning, tail going like a whip and the great joke. :rotfl:

If the others don't like it that's fine, We'll just take a nicer picture of her. Its almost certainly big dogs last Christmas so it would be nice to have something fun to remember at least trying .:)

Yes, but your OH isn't a dodgy Scot.
  • Crap.

'Plan C' lasted all of 2 minutes.

I have just managed to drop an entire bottle of single malt onto a glass table before a solitary dram had crossed my lips, breaking the bottle and smashing the glass table top, and probably ruining the carpet as well.

    So now I have....

    a) nothing worth drinking in the house

    b) a rather expensive mistake on my hands to deal with

    c) a sodden carpet full of broken glass currently being absorbed by a pile of old towels

    d) no choice but to clean up before Mrs McT arrives back tomorrow

    Ar5e and parsley.

    I resemble that remark. :)

  • Aren't you supposed to start throwing things later in the plan C process?

Careful with the glass, don't get any nasty cuts. An evening in A & E wouldn't be great, either!

I dare say you reckon "dodgy Scot" is tautologous?

Awww. Now you've said that big dog'll outlive the rest and end up in the DM as the "oldest dog ever!"

    D'oh....

I'm thinking the towels will absorb most of the booze, the rest will evaporate, and then I can get to work with a dustbuster.

On a positive note however, the entire house now smells like a distillery.

So Mrs McT will think I've had a grand old time even though everything is clean and tidy tomorrow.

    :)
