Westie had been puking a lot a while ago, and we never found out why. It was the same week in week out : for a couple of days he was fine, then a puke, then didn't eat for a day, was fine again, and after a couple of days a puke again. We had stool and bloodtest done, but nothing was found and he's fine now. Oh well.

    That sounds worrying.

Doozerdog was a rescue, mainly because he was a serial puker and couldn't keep much down. He has a twisted oesophagus which did mean we had to soak his food and feed him five times a day. It's a lot better now he's grown and he can eat hard food under a certain size and less frequently, but if he wolfs it down it all comes back up.

I have hard floors for a reason, but he selects the location by comfort for him. And then looks at me with 'I did a bad thing' which means I have to go and look for the bad thing.

    You have diamond lead???

They are something that I hate and wouldn't ever want to even view a house that had those. I bet they're a pain to keep clean, fiddly - and make the rooms dark,

Did you buy/choose them, or get stuck with them?

Half and half. We only intended replacing the single glazed windows, so as the extension windows were double glazed and leaded, we needed to match. Then once we had been here another winter we realised the double glazed ones were really carp - soft wood I think and poorly made, the rain leaked between the window unit and the wood. So we replaced them too, but then had to match them to the recently replaced windows. The leading is on the outside and between the glass, so easy to clean from the inside and the outside isn't my area of work;)
There are some you can claim.

I've heard it's legal, say, for a EU citizen with a family to come here and claim for their family/kids back home and send them the money.

Benefits board would know all the ins/outs.

Wasn't there an outcry a few years ago, that those who had retired to the costa del sol could claim winter fuel payments if the weather in the UK was cold?

Ok, I have a question which is not really medical advice.

I've printed loads of things like thishttp://blogs.abc.net.au/photos/uncategorized/2008/06/27/body.gif

Not actual one, mines better but cannot find it now. To put red marks on each day for dr.

Its to show where hurts. :). Like n infant. Now, if something hurts but I know why...like hormonal boobs, that shouldn't go n, right? Or should it because its a map of pain? I mean a stubbed toe wouldn't obviously.

I've been getting those annoying unsolicited recorded voice calls from BT offering me "free daytime calls" and finally I snapped and pressed the button yesterday.

They just called me back offering me free calls - and so I said "but you're not offering me free calls are you - you'll charge a fee for that". She tried arguing over and over again that it's free calls and that my "overall package" (HATE the word package) would be cheaper .... and so I said "but it's not free calls is it, without a fee".

Finally .... she told me the deal. Pay £5/month and daytime calls to landlines are free. So I pointed out to her that it'd be a very rare month when I made calls to landlines during the day - even if I were trying .... and so, in most months, I'd be paying more.

She tried arguing "that's how all telecom companies do it" - and I said "But that's not the point, that they all do it - it's still misleading advertising to say I'd get free calls when I am having to pay £5 for them".

    She gave up.

Yes, it was worrying. But it seems to have passed now. We've done all the tests, stool, blood, scan, ...nothing found.
