My shoe rack is planned to go in the bottom of the wardrobe - it'd be for keeping all shoes, not the shoes I am currently wearing daily.I had a shoe rack (IKEA) in our studio flat - so that shoes were taken off pretty much as soon as in the flat (lived by the sofa). Lent it to my bro when I was back chez parents (and he bought his place). Bought an inferior version when I started lodging (a year and a week ago - has gone so quickly, but would never have guessed things would have changed so much by now) which now lives at the bottom of my wardrobe.
In the nearish future I am planning on lir-ing my wardrobe. It is built in (above the stairwell, also one in the 2nd bedroom) - and I am planning on painting the inside (/ the shelf if feeling tame) fluoro-yellow or something equally surprising).0 -

Mine is now looking after all my non-daily shoes.
My daily shoes are living at the bottom of the stairs in the small (about 1'x1') which is my 'entrance hall' (aka bit at the bottom of the stairs between the living and dining rooms). Eventually I think I'll put some small shelves (enough for a pair of shoes per shelf - I have fairly little feet) into the 'entrance hall' (really not as grand as that).0 -

Service charge £1200 .... so a bit pricier than I'd like ... then the deal breaker: Council tax band E £1800. pfft
Flats look cheaper than houses, but they've a huge annual cost.
Remember that you would get the single person discount. Now the stuff's all downloadable. But what we need are websites that tell you where the nearest passport photo booths are or which pillar box has the last collection time. Just thought for a moment and realised that the internet will probably make these obsolete eventually.
Facebook groups are excellent for that sort of stuff.
