    6.4.

My red and pink/pears and roses/herb garden to be has a pH of 6.4. :D

Three more area tests and the things has proved its value over the single use test kits in the shop. :)

We just bought a digital soil pH tester.

Positive, one is often and cheap the other indulgence is rare and expensive.

We dithered over buying Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii ‘Profusion too, I really want one, got a few other reduced plants, including two more japenese quince. I have nowhere else to plant them so I have to stop.

If anyone has room for something red in their early garden look at japenese quince variety crimson and red, these were by far the heaviest in fruit now, so you get golden yellow I. The garden now and then stunning red early in the season. We don't have anywhere for red one, but its got to be a good choice.

Hello Spirit.. We have survived builders and their associates working in and around the house since July going through every room and redecorating from top to bottom.

We are so pleased with the quality of workmanship that has been carried out and their awareness that we were also living here as well. We are almost there at the 'winning-post' just the hallway to finish.

This week see the Combi-Boiler being brought down from the loft and recited within an airing cupboard that will suit our requirements.

Much of our excess 'chattel has survived being stored in a Marquee in the garden which measures 13.5 sqm.

I have certainly missed following the Forum due to work load and not being on the Internet only by the means of a 'Dongle' strange little thing I must say.

    Nice to be back. :):)

Nikkster you've just bought a house. You need to stop looking in shop windows/ checking real estate websites!:naughty:

That one was for sale when I was looking.

Probably shouldn't admit that I still haven't yet cancelled my zoopla alert though. And I do open the emails too :o Not seen anything that I would have chosen to go and see though (although if I'd still been looking I guess I would have broadened my criteria by now).

Seeing as my first mortgage payment went out yesterday, I should cancel it really.

I forgot to say that we had our kitchen extended by 2.5m which caused a great deal of work but certainly has made a fantastic difference to the layout.

    Hope that was not TMI...;)
