Issues: too small, too dark, hate the trees, no garage, garden all in shade all the time.
£4600 per square metre!
All those photos of the 'garden' seem a bit excessive given said 'garden'...Doozergirl wrote: »DD had some homework on apostophes before half term. I had to help her a bit. The teacher has marked errors for not putting an apostophe in 'its'. Am I wrong here?
We put:
My brother's favourite animal was the monkey. Its tail was long and fluffy. I like the lion best. Its claws were sharp and it's really scary!

Well, now that you are back to being self employed... would moving areas entirely be such a bad idea? All the NP want you to find the right place, but (dangerously on topic here) there's no guarantee that houses will get any more affordable than they are now, so if you can't afford what you want in the area where you are now, then perhaps you should try a different area?
Let me see, what sort of area do you want? IIRC, you want somewhere coastal and within a couple of hours of Cornwall, don't you? Are prices any better on the N Devon or Somerset coast than they are on the S coast? I'm afraid I've no idea.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

For my DD, we paid for the first one, she has worked and paid for the second.

For features/space/layout it's fine..... just a bit out of budget.
I've always fancied a bungalow over a double garage.
You earn your living online, there are shops, and how frequently would you be taking the ferry?
I am very keen on IOW for you, safe environment, beaches galore, affordable property...and I will visit:)0 -
It is a shame Margate is so far from Cornwall as PN knows people there and there is the chance to get in at the druggie prices and see it transform into the English Bohemian RivieraI think....0

How do you know? Pray tell.
Imagination.
The same way I read meals from books and know what they will taste like. And nose. If you have smelled something you pretty much have an idea of the taste top note.
There is are three savoury jellies at the new world, (why, nice people do we not talk about dim sum these days?) that is water chestnut and its yummy there is a second I tried once and it tastes like tramps underarms. It put me off trying the third.0
