For stenciling what?lostinrates wrote: »Using cardboard or paper doilies as stencil patterns......Mse or foolhardy? I just want to add a colour layer, no design in mind and board of looking at stencils which are really expensive....0 -

It's in a bad area, it's small. If I wanted to live in that bad area I could get a big choice of 2-3 beds for that budget... e.g. same postcode, just £20k more is somethng bigger: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-43695854.html
The bungalow looks great! Why aren't you looking at it?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Walls at the back of my bathroom cabinets, currently orange, want to overlay with pink.....

I own, sadly, a redundant building, 27ft x 30ft. What are the planning laws on catteries and how much income?
I'm far enough from GDB not to be competition. I quite like cats, but I fear the dogs might too :rotfl:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

This is in my budget, just.... 1-bed.

Issues: too small, too dark, hate the trees, no garage, garden all in shade all the time.
£4600 per square metre!0 -

I also don't understand the question.....
Is the area that you are looking in at the moment particularly good for you? For example, you have friends/family in the area?

This isn't where you are looking, but it seems rather nice. You'll have to bear in mind that I'm a sucker for 1970's architecture, and it may not be your taste. It's also, ridiculously, a bungalow with steps leading up to it.
Also, it's on the Isle of Wight, so 1970's architecture is kind of futuristic for there. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Lots of 'frog tape' around the area you want to paint?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

In looking at studio flats to rent a few years back, I'll never forget the stupid EA ....
Went in, it was hideously dated (still new 1980s Barratt kitchen/bathroom and the original drop down bed in the wall).
I walked in - saw it and said "that's no good - can't get the bed in/out" - but I tried. It was a dangerous nightmare and I was failing miserably to get it to budge an inch. As the bed took up most of the whole room and was slap bang in the middle it couldn't have been left down all the time.
I said "No - can't do it" - and the EA offered to help.... I pointed out to him "Unless you're going to turn up every morning to put the bed away and every evening to get the bed out ..... there's no point is there!"

It is on an island, where there are no jobs/shops - and the ferry is too expensive to use often.
For features/space/layout it's fine..... just a bit out of budget.
I've always fancied a bungalow over a double garage.0
