No, not wrong at all. You're doing them a favour.

Now you have to turn out your lights and sit in the backroom scoffing the rest. After all, you can't disappoint them by running out when you open the door.

Well, the malteasers have already run out.

I'm off out soon anyway to this, and will switch the front room lights off.

Hope your afternoon improved, NDG, and you're now resting and feeling better. Take care of yourself.

    .

Malt is a laxative. how many did you have? :D

( p.s. never , ever give malted milk to dogs. Even ones who normally tolerate milk, especially when they are bigger than you.....god, that was awful)

I've never bought T/T stuff. Nobody's ever knocked either.

If they catch me out the front while I am crouching and having a fag I'll offer them a toke on my smoke.

I bought some sweets just in case, but nobody ever comes here.

I had an argument with BT on the phone. The woman was vile, no empathy at all with an attitude of "what do you expect me to do about it".

I was on hold for ages, spoke to her, then she put me on to another department who can't actually deal with me 'yet', then finally billing. Of course, after 45 minutes on the phone and getting nowhere, the billing lady was lovely. Do you know that feeling when you're really wound up and then someone is nice to you? I did what I do when that happens and burst into tears. :o

I really hate talking on the phone so difficult phone calls are a particular trauma; I wish I wasn't quite so emotional.

I've got a cordless phone .... and spend most of the time on the phone outside having 2-3 rollies in a row.

I like that you are emotional. It makes you make good, artistic decisions. Had a good chat about the sips that aren't pensions today and in theory am on board :)

Which is ironic because then had an unpleasant chat about pensions that aren't sips and had to organise the Boss to make a nasty salary sacrifice that sees us worse off next year. Still, pleased employers have considered it this year for the first time, still not sure what I'm doing with some of this years money.

I hate this , its galling to have money we cannot spent on the business to get more income because it would involve making improvements to our personal property and that cannot be done legitimately....but we don't have the cash flow in our personal budget to lose there ATM with out return.....I suppose, h,m....I wonder could do it and charge the business higher rent for them till paid off...hmm.

its earned and its accounted for this year. :(. Not helped by me taking more personal spends. :o

Feeling a bit nervous - a bit of bleeding, GP says to lie down and not move around at all until my scan tomorrow. Trying to get my case this afternoon adjourned, but lots of warnings of being seen as "unreliable", and I might have to go anyway!

If it helps, the same thing happened to me and the result is now 23 years old.

We have given up 25% of salary (plus a few k bonus) for tax/benefits reasons this year...it does hurt :(

Lets hope all is well with NDG - we seemed to have the same issue and scans every week with DD1. I know where I stand on the work vs family health trade-off. It may explain why I haven't reached further at work but I certainly wouldn't change it.
    I think....

Can I join the NP thread, please?
I have just had the first T or T at the door. As it's after 7.30 now is it safe to tuck into the sweetie box, hmm? The two girls who knocked the door were very polite. No sign of the parents hovering so I asked them to take care.
Sending good wishe to NDG. I really do dislike auto correct on this device. Aapologies for any and all errors.
