My imagination, or does Halloween get bigger each year?
Dislike the concept of dressing up to frighten people and the idea of T or T; maybe I'm just getting old.

And "locally sourced" could mean they got the ingredients from Asda round the corner.I noticed that a lot of the time just calling them gourmet "makes" them gourmet. It's one of those weasel words they can use in marketing that doesn't mean as much as we think it does, like "premier".0 -
Feeling a bit nervous - a bit of bleeding, GP says to lie down and not move around at all until my scan tomorrow. Trying to get my case this afternoon adjourned, but lots of warnings of being seen as "unreliable", and I might have to go anyway!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

People queue round the block for that place and both the food and the concept is diabolical. Most of the people queuing were wearing a trilby and glasses with no lenses.
just the dog in between the buns for your pleasure
£6.00
I choke when I pay £2 for a giant hot dog at a car boot!
£6????0 -
It's not imagination, it's "Think up anything daft, use pointless marketing language, open in London." That's all that's needed.I like lamb and beef pink, but draw the line at pink mince.
I obviously have no imagination, as I would never be able to put together a concept of hotdogs and champagne as a business.
Or even visit it.0 -

That's london for you. The public transport is good and relatively cheap, but the crappy hotdogs are three times the price.0 -
Didn't want to read and run, but best wishes NDG. Fingers and toes crossed all is ok x0

At least you've had the warnings.... better than the unspoken warning you know is being hidden....neverdespairgirl wrote: »... GP says to lie down and not move around at all until my scan tomorrow. .... lots of warnings of being seen as "unreliable", and I might have to go anyway!
Shame more courts aren't done by videolink.0 -
I'd disagree. The crappy hotdogs sold to idiots under the guise of "trendy" are 3x the price. I bet if you went down a cheap market they'd be cheaper than up country.chewmylegoff wrote: »That's london for you.
