Office and chrome. I could probably do without Facebook Twitter et al but I choose to have them. I could mention other software I use but that would just be too specialist.0

Gah, I should have closed hanging drawers and tidied them before snapping. They've been pushed about the house a bit this weekend!
Ooops.
The rug is still old, it was my mother's either in late eighties or early nineties. But its SO much better than what we had before. We need to decide what to do about skirtings now...as the ugly modern skirtings hover aboveboard the floor. All this floor WILL have to come up at some point. At least one joist needs repair or replacement, and we'll probably put in underfloor heating and insulation.
But in the mean time, badge something to stop draughts, put shed skirtings on ...we'll have to decide. One wall had lots of piping on and will have to be bridged for now, which leads me to feel its a 'waste' doing much as a medium term hold to the others.0 -

I missed this and am confused. Are you pregnant?!

PasturesNew wrote: »Little French Kitchen woman .... I remember LIR saying that anybody can cook in a small space and that Rachel Khoo shows how easy it is .... well, I tried to find out how big her kitchen is and couldn't. I always thought the filming was "sleight of camera".
I've now found out - it's "226-square foot" according to many websites.
Now .... let's face it - that's huge. in fact, it's bigger than most of the studios I've lived in.
So, "small kitchen" just really means "not a 100' square commercial kitchen"
226' is 22'x10', or 15'x15' - palatial!
When I say I have a small kitchen I mean more like 30-40-50 square feet.
Ok, well use me as an example then, I've had kitchens that are as tiny as hers look. And Shared kitchens (though that does involve asking if I can clear some workspace if I put everything back the next day) .0 -
Btw, today is NOT the day to try burning chipboard, its bucketing it down outside. Kiwi, DH and I are soaking. The girl dogs stayed in laughing at us.0
