Really almost a whole day with no posts?
What have you all been doing?

More than I have managed all week as I have been ill with a couple of problems and further upset by the medication.

Went to a nearby village and bought fruit and sea food. Baked 3 types of scones and then cooked paella for dinner.

Sitting with a donated Muji memory foam cushion friend brought round that is magical in sorting out bad back problems, and I am currnetly almost ecstatic at being pain free for the first time in 10 days.

Told OH this evening I had not bought him a pressie yet, his birthday his Monday. He was fine, I explained what I had in mind and asked him to choose the model. It will be macputer...unlike MissK's it will not be top of the range.

Oh and I have not puked. Another triumph.

Its all fun fun fun here.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I am beginning to feel the limitations of my 12-year old macputer. It stutters when I try to watch telly progs on it.

But when I get a new one it won't be able to run Appleworks which has my address book and my Office 2004 which is better than Office 2008. I still believe Office hasn't improved a bit since the days of Word 5. If I could have that back.

Most modern software has improvements that seem like impediments to me. Maye if I got something that can run facetime that might be what I might find useful.

What programmes/software do NPs run that they couldn't live without?

    You will be missed spirit

I have some cards, will email the numbers later once I've had a relaxing bath.

Today has featured taking DDs to football, helping electrician perform circuit test whilst checking light bulbs, counting curtain hooks and checking keys, getting missing keys cut, clearing junk, removing garage shelves, buying hedge trimmer, curtain hooks and bulbs, dismantling shelving units, transporting various junk including shelf parts and dining chairs and a camping cooker back to house and putting in garage, cooking lunch and dinner and washing them up, making unscheduled trip to wickes to buy cable joiner after DW had cut through hedge trimmer cable, some hedge trimming, some picking up trimmings, paying electrician online, some trouble shooting non-working kitchen downlighters, changing all the beds, printing out and reading contracts, finding and printing manuals and a few other things no doubt I have forgotten. after a bath it will be time for all the online chores.
    I think....
