PN - is there a social worker involved at all? If so, might be a good idea to speak to them. OH always seems to be involved in investigations to do with money being nicked by people abusing positions of trust. Obviously will depend whether the social worker is any good, but it might help.0

Been burgled. Not a happy camper....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Really sorry. Happened to my parents, and it happened to me - they trashed the place. It's the mess, the rifling, the intrusion ....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Sorry to hear that.
We got burgled once. My handbag was nicked from my office at work in central London. by the time I realised and then got home, the thieves had found the house keys, travelled an hour or so to get to my home and burgled us. Assume they were non drivers because my car keys were in my handbag and the car parked outside the house.
I remember the police local to my house saying I should have notified them; I asked them why the police who came to the office didn't think to do so. They probably didn't think it was likely they would use the house keys, they said.

That is terrible NDG. I hope you have not lost anything irreplaceable.

All the SS are interested in is completing any financial statement .... and if you're paying then that's the last you see of them. You're on your own, 110%0 -
Sorry shouldn't have been cryptic. We're all fine, no damage, stuff stolen but it could've been a lot worse. Isaac's a bit upset, so OH's taken him swimming while I sort stuff out....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
