Well, there's only one thing left to do. Eat the lot. NP midnight feast round SC's house.
Would you eat meat that has been sitting in a defrosting freezer for 4 days? Well I would certainly eat meat that had been taken out the freezer and left in the fridge for four days, so I expect the answer is yes. As long as you cook it properly the worst that can happen is it doesn't taste very nice. I have no real practical experience of this as nothing in our house lasts long enough to make it to the freezer.0 -
oh gosh I love those...where are they from? They would sort out quite a few Xmas pressy situations for some 'olds' who don't 'need' anything.

Many thanks for the congratulations on my now owning a rather large house which would benefit from rather a lot of love.
I currently feel very small, but it also feels like I've just moved into yet another rented house. I guess that will change as soon as I hang some pictures on the wall
I have had my first visitor - a colleague who exchanged on her house purchase today (must be a day for house news!). She looked at this house (I should really call it MY house now!) before me, but she said it was much bigger than she remembered and reminded me just how much potential there is (all I've been able to see is the vast number of things that need doing).
If there is to be a NP meet up, please include me on the mailing list.
Congrats to the michaelses - my mum was very pleased to announce that we as a small family now own 4 houses. And in fact my dad got confirmation that his mortgage had been paid off today, just as mine is starting...0 -

I reckon the only thing you can do is go on a major cook-fest and cook anything that isn't 'off' then freeze all the results as 'ready-meals' for another day.0 -

My fault I think. I suggested last week that UK clocks go back a week after US clocks and I thought they'd gone back. The reason I thought this is that the annual American football match at Wembley happens when the difference is 4 hours. The problem is, I forgot that there are two games this year. And the next one will take place (I think) the weekend where they've gone back in US.
Sorry!:o:o:o:o:o:o:oPlease stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Congrats on the tenants.....I thought that 6 months upfront people are ones who can't pass the credit check..no other reason to do it that way otherwise.......did they say why?
Hi FC. There was a post of mine a few pages back suggesting a London venue which we decided should be removed. Please could you edit where you quoted.
Story is it is a retired property owner who has agreed to rent out her property and had found a rental here near her family but the rental here fell through but she is committed to leaving her home. not sure why she needs 4 beds though?!Many thanks for the congratulations on my now owning a rather large house which would benefit from rather a lot of love.

Hmm - I am one of 5 siblings but I would not like to say how many properties we own between usI think....0 -
Oh - the main surprise I have encountered is that I am the proud keeper of a pre-paid gas meter. I hope it's going to be straightforward to convert to a normal meter...0

Lol,
I cannot pin it on anything, but I wish I'd been less organised, and less determined to give DH a surprise extra hour in bed! He knew they hadn't changed:rotfl:
Bizarrely I'm shattered too, not sure whether even to look for something to read.....0
