Our westie is too slow for that.
But whenever a fly is not totally terminated by an intial zapping from The Executioner, he likes to finish them off though.
It's perfect team work here at Casa Wheezy.
I zap, westie terminates and wife sits with her fingers in her ears because she can't stand the rather loud zapping noise.
It's the smell...you think she"d pinch her nose.0 -

Mother is complaining she is cold, I suggested she turn the heating on. Apparently her friends have said they are not turning the heating on because that would mean admitting summer is over, so she thought she would do the same.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We have a fear of stinging insects, mainly because I react really badly. I run out of the room and tell OH to deal with it. He groans and ignores it and hope it goes away by itself. I don't know what that says about our relationship.0

These are choices she either makes or is unable to make and needs residential care.
With some people its ok to talk through it. With some one who has used clearly controlling behaviours I beg you to use some self preservation.
Can you say 'we'll, if I were you I'd put the heating on, or at least make a hot water bottle, but its your choice. So, what about that shooting in Washington huh...' Or what ever.
For what its worth I suggested my non resident parent spoke to a psychologist yesterday. Some tricky issues are surfacing and I just said that I was not in a position to support and was biased myself and that Keith stoll had been good, why not chat to him.
Maybe, some great counselling might help your mother? Is their good social life through religious community after the move? Do you think she'll fit in?0 -
I'm wondering (in September) if I can work up the guts to go to dh's work Christmas party this year.0

I have a plan. I'm the opposite body shape to you. We each buy the same thing in the right size for either our top or bottom half, then chop the item in half in the middle, swop either the top or the bottom half, and sew our respective creations back together again0 -
My facebook feed is full of spam...any nice people feeling guilty?I think....0

There have been occasions where he has come home to find random cups upside down housing insects that he needs to deal with
