My friend has one of those and has gone from someone who hated the teeniest fly in her house to relishing the thought of zapping one. Windows are now wide open inviting the pests to dare intrude. Her delight in zapping is becoming distasteful.

They just aren't that great for flies though. Other flying insects yes, but proper flies, a traditional swat is far more effective.

Go on silver car, if you cannot beat them, join them.

Get you husband an electric fly swat, close the curtains and let him swat away in the altogether.

Really, who likes killing flies is not that an important factor in relationships.

In our house DH is the king of the electric racket, I like an old fashioned swat.

Our westie is too slow for that.
But whenever a fly is not totally terminated by an intial zapping from The Executioner, he likes to finish them off though.
It's perfect team work here at Casa Wheezy.
I zap, westie terminates and wife sits with her fingers in her ears because she can't stand the rather loud zapping noise.

    :)

We have a fear of stinging insects, mainly because I react really badly. I run out of the room and tell OH to deal with it. He groans and ignores it and hope it goes away by itself. I don't know what that says about our relationship.
