Window goes into the bathroom today, woohoo, a house without a hope in in again, yippee! Then, I'm going to get the joiner to make the back door into the utility, instead of screwing boarding across the hole. We decided not to have the door made last year because when we realised the boiler wasn't working well and might need removing, no way did I want to spend an obscene amount on a door only to have to remove it, the door frame etc and have it and the walls damaged and the costs of making good.

Seems like a bit of a landmark!

Um, hope should obviously read hole.

It has hope. Not much else, but hope! But hope it has in spades!

I know this sounds like a PN posh alert, but DS1 and OH both had their best fitting suits made when they happened to be in the Far East for far less than the cost of an M&S suit here.

DS2 was on a uni sponsored trip to study at a uni in China for a month and got his suit while he was there. OH on a work trip to Hong Kong. So both suits were bought just because they happened to be there.

  • The trouble with getting suits from tk maxx is that you can usually only get one pair of trousers. I prefer to buy four or five pairs as the trousers wear out four or five times quicker than the jacket which spends almost the whole time on the back of my chair.

Top Gear did this in Vietnam, I believe.

That's true. But still cheaper than buying a suit that will fit DH with other trousers. DH wears through trousers reasonably quickly too: muscular thighs.

It's amazing......the window makes everything so.....quiet. And warmer. Incredible.

I don't like it though. :( I miss the old wonky window. Doing up houses is sad.

Best bet is probably the website. :)

I only shop the clearance at tk Maxx really apart form some specific things. I am the lowest of the low, shopping the bargain zone of the bargain shop:o
Oh, website. I didn't think that they'd have one as they're a cheap outlet of sorts.

I can't buy clothes online. I'm short, big chested, with short arms/legs and the hips of a 12-13 year old..... add in various other shape issues and everything has to be tried on and mot things don't fit.
