We took a small child down to Margate on Sunday and went into the joke shop.
It isn't free but made us LOL and if OH and I get invited to one, this is the theme for us.
There was a Fried Egg outfit and a Bacon outfit. They didn't have a toast one but we worked out you could make one out of an old blanket.
    Just an idea :D:p

I went to a halloween party as a ham sandwich. Witches hat, two large pieces of foam cut like slices of white bread - crusts painted with a match pot worn front and back tied over the shoulders. Piggy mask.

NP who know about these things- how unusual is it to be trying to frame your hypotheses the night before you get your dissertation bound?

    Well, they were exciting.....:D

It starts with some fancy dress on Friday
Inch time...not my normal thing....but for the sake of the weekend I'm going with it........

    Edit...lunch, not inch.

I knew that Bestival has something of a reputation for fancy dress, but it was amazing just how many people really went for it. The theme this year was HMS Bestival. Some of my favourites included a group of fishfinger sandwiches (not sure what the collective noun is, Chewie might know?) and a rather large flock of seagulls (just the sheer number of them was impressive, about 15). I would guess that on Saturday about 75% of people were in fancy dress.

Not a problem. My hypotheses are quite different (current draft anyway) to what they were at the start).

Better than trying to work them out after binding :)

I am after a fancy dress item for free and very low effort. Its ideally a joke on 'sight'. I was going I had something I could turn into comedy glasses, in fact I still might have,....(card or paper and my gardening sunglasses).

    Any other bright ideas?

Just found this from spirit/fc's posts. How about one of those boards with the letters on that you get at the opticians? Could do a sandwich board kind of a thing. And if you had some specs you could colour one lens green and the other red.

If you need a reminder of your event:

I should be ok for a reminder at the moment. I did my clothes washing yesterday, but still have to tidy up my tent, wash sleeping bag and waterproofs, clean wellies and the old trainers I took. I have brought back plenty of the IoW with me.

It is of course not the way round things are supposed to happen, but so long as they fit what she has done/ discussed, I'm sure they are equally valid. I don't think I've ever come across anyone actually finishing the same project they set out with...

I'm sure she will be just fine.

:D bet there's no links to me

I bet if I tried hard enough I could find one between you and my husband.

(in retrospect that sounds a bit Jeremy Kyle, but isn't what I mean)
