PN, sorry, can't go back through loads of posts as I'm tired and about to go to bed. This may have been posted before...

But have you checked to see if one of the fuses has tripped on the board?
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

If it's any consolation, you've reminded me to pack the head torch that I treated myself to a couple of months ago :)

Hope you find some light soon :(

I know. DS keeps trying to remind me to put a new bulb in the family bathroom, but I only remember when it's dark, and keep promising that I'll do it tomorrow when it's daylight, but not actually doing it. :o
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Not as scary but when I was doing my degree viva I got my first Bell's palsy. Right while I was talking.

(I don't get that nervous public speaking, but defending your work is a bit stressful, but I wasn't as nervous as many

I thought I was stupifying them with my brilliance. :D And then I started to drool and I noticed my words weren't that clear.

(We still don't know if that was an isolated thing or signified a weakness in the old neurological system even then.....I had had a REALLY bad flu and perforated and eardrum and stuff so it was just put down to that then......)

    Its ok
    1. I'm still pretty far away from having to worry about anything like that
    2. I've seen enough people before and after theirs/ heard plenty enough stories
    3. I get super nervous just giving a presentation. It is guaranteed that I'd look like I'm terrified (I would be!)
