  • So so cross with myself. September seems to have been a pants month so far :(

I've had two weeks with no Internet access throughout this month and it just goes to show the danger of taking your eye off the ball. My overdraft is pretty much back at its £250 limit which I'm well naffed off about. Had a small emergency with the fencing before I went away which resulted in £85 being added to the od to repair it. Another £45 added for a food shop. I so need to build up an emergency fund and quick :(

Payday next week and it looks like next month is going to be just as bad if not worse. I suspect my poor car is on its last legs and OH car needs work too......

On the positive side I've got a few items ending on eBay later so fingers crossed they bring in a few pennies to chuck at the od.

Right off to start tackling the 101 things I need to do today ....
  • Just wanted to say well done, shame the od went back up but i'm sure with your determination you'll soon sort it, and if u dont come and find us and we'll give u a good kick up the bum :)
Still here..... but working on that!
  • Hi littleskintdragon thanks for stopping by :hello: You've got more faith in me than I have at the moment lol!

So it's finally payday - new month = fresh start

Scores from last month are pretty depressing :(

Overdraft on 23/08 was £23.15 now £192.24
    CC on 23/08 was £3389.23 now £3550.65

Credit card spend was on behalf of work so will be claiming that back on expenses.

Weight wise I'm back at my heaviest ever weight  and have decided enough is enough. I've enrolled back at slimming world - not very MSE I know but I haven't got the will power to do it alone. I need to lose half a stone to get back within my ideal range but ideally would like to lose 1.5-2 stone to get me mid range and back where I was happiest.

Popped to Aldi today and stocked up on a lot of cupboard supplies and fresh fruit and veg. Used the voucher out the mirror so got £5 knocked off :) Have also placed an order at Mr T for the other bits and pieces needed for the month, got a freezer full of Quorn mince as it's on offer :D - got a voucher code for £15 off the total too, so with offers and the vouchers got £125 worth of food for just over £84! Quite pleased with that :T

£29 has become payable in my TCB account so will be transferring that to the overdraft as soon as it lands in my account. Swagged another £5 amazon GC for the Christmas fund and have listed 6 items on eBay. Got a pile more to do - must put some time aside at the weekend to get it sorted.

Right time for bed - early start in the morning .....
  • Another £28 withdrawn to overdraft account from TCB. So pleased I found that website!
  • First weigh and 5.5lb lost - well pleased with that :j
I've actually found it quite easy this week and am really enjoying the diet. Fingers cross edit continues!

Big spendy day today as car is going in for work :( hopefully all will go ok........
  • Just checked online banking and expenses have come through, so that's £150 sent straight to the credit card :T
  • Well was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the car so that's a massive bonus :D

I had two items sell on eBay last night, so there's another £20ish to chuck at the od.

Other than posting the items, I'm hoping for a nice quiet NSD - fingers crossed!
  • Small overpayment of £11.22 made to credit card this morning.

Overdraft will be cleared next week when my monthly standing order goes in :j got to make sure it stays that way this time!
  • The slow cookers been on most the weekend and I now have enough slimming world friendly "ready meals" in the freezer to last me a little while!

Have made my budgeted payment of £200 to the cc this morning.

My online banking device has given up on me so need to get another one ordered today otherwise I'm stuck!
  • Quick catch up....

This weeks weigh in was 1.5lb off - so half a stone in my first 2 weeks, well pleased with that :j just need to keep it up as ideally would love to lose another stone.

Overdraft is once again paid off :j must be disciplined now and make sure the account stays in the black.

Swagged another £5 amazon GC yesterday for Xmas (or maybe the new Bridget jones book  )

Gas and elec company have put my dd up by £26 a month despite me being £200 in credit at the last bill. Not sure whether to query it or leave it and be safe in the knowledge that winter fuel should be more than covered, will have a think.......

Received a £7 refund, so will send this to the credit card as technically it was already spent - every little helps!

Must get my expenses claim signed off today. It's only £35 but it's an extra £35 sat on the credit card.

    Have a good day x
