Thanks Jodles - really doesn't feel like it at the mo, in desperate need of a little bit of breathing space and a change in luck!
This weeks eBay sales are upto £15 - they end at the weekend so still a little bit of time.
Been making the most of the nice weather and washing all the ponies stable rugs. In the past I'd have had them professionally done but not anymore lol! Still need to find the money to get a couple of turnout rugs reproofed though. I've also had a go at making some home made fly spray for them - if it works it should save me about £20 a month.
This weeks exercise total is 1 run and 1 gym. Going to struggle to do anything tomorrow but hoping to be back in the gym Friday.
Pay day friday -seems to have been a long long month! Need to pay for two lots of road tax and put a feed order in first thing Friday morning0 -
Well made it through to payday!!!!
Haven't done the scores on the doors yet, but know it's not good. The remainder of the "big" vets bills have been added to cc2 - hopefully now things will settle down and we'll be able to 'pay as you go' with the remaining vet bills whilst we plug away at what's outstanding on the card. Time to get back on track!!!!
Paid both lots of car tax yesterday, minimum payments to the cards and placed the order for hoss feed.
£10s become payable in TCB so will cash it in and send it to cc2 as interest is now being charged on this.
Hope you all have a fab sunny weekend!!!!0 -
Not much to report - I've had a look at the budget for this month and we're running on fumes before we've even started
Made £30 on eBay at the weekend and have a £5 bid on relisted stuff. Will have a look at things and see how best to utilise that, also requested the £10 withdrawal from TCB. Hopefully will have a good sort out of the garage over the weekend and try and pull some stuff together for a car boot whilst the weathers still nice.
Had my Te$co clubcard statement through, have £8 which isn't bad considering I rarely shop there! Will provably take advantage of the double up for tesco direct and put it towards Xmas.
Swagging and 1poll I so need to get back on track with these. I'm finding them so frustrating at the minute but the vouchers etc come in so handy. Must do better!0 -
Can't believe how much has vanished from the accounts already  car tax has been a big chunk although if we hadn't have changed the cars it would have cost us £100 more. The rest has been food shopping (£100), minimum payments (£95), one lot of fuel for each car (£140), car payment to family (£240). Ouch ouch ouch!!!!
In better news, managed to get two Xmas presents - total value £25, for the grand sum of £3.75 thanks to $wagbucks and tesco clubcard, so really pleased with that. Also managed to $wag another £5 voucher to put towards another pressie.
Exercise - managed a 5k run in 29 mins at the weekend. Pleased with that especially considering it was soooo hot! Also burned 500 calories in the gym last night. Hoping to run Friday am and cycle / gym over the weekend. Need to make amends as diets been a bit pants this week!0 -
Nothing to report on the debt busting front but I thought I'd check in to keep up momentum. Did Aldi run yesterday for a few bits for my lunch through the week. Need to pop morrisons today to make use of the £5 of £10 fresh meat voucher.
Had a £10 gift card through the post for boden, which also gave 15% off and free postage. Have used it on a top for my friends little ones either Xmas or birthday pressie - not sure which yet. Total spend £5.30.
Got a few eBay items ending tonight. So far selling for £15, fingers crossed for a few more bidders. Money will be chucked are the credit card.
Card 2 is now standing at around £800 thanks to the run of vets bills. I will start to get charged interest on this this month at a whopping 18.9%, so time to look for a balance transfer I think! Hopefully should be able to claim the bills for the woof back (minus excess of course) so that should help a wee bit. I'm hoping (touch wood, fingers crossed, etc etc) that things are beginning to calm down for us now as our latest run of bad luck has cost us £2670 in the last 7 weeks :mad:0 -
Had two items sell on eBay for £21. Have used that plus the £10 that had cleared from TCB to pay off the remainder of the next card - one less thing to be paying interest on! Have relisted the non sellers and a couple of extra items.
Managed to apply for a balance transfer. Unfortunately I didn't have enough unused BT on cc1 so have applied for a new card. Worked out better in the long run as fee was only 1.5% as opposed to 2.9% and have 23 months @ 0%.
Quick recap on where we are as it seems the last couple of months it's been 1 step forward and 3 back.
cc1 (0%) £2691.46
Cc2 (0%) £919.51
Od £500
Next £0
Total £4110.97
Time to get cracking. Will try and get my head round it all today and get (another) plan in place.0 -
Nothing much to report. Work is manic at the minute so exercise has kinda gone out the window. Will try and make amends at the weekend. Money wise it's still incredibly tight. Just need to keep the purse shut!
Had a couple of bids on eBay and another £5 amazon card for Xmas land in my account. Hoping to do a car boot in a couple of weeks as have a pile of stuff that's not really worth ebaying.0 -
It's Friday at last!!!! Been such a busy week, hoping for a nice relaxing weekend.
If my calculations are right we're going to have around £160 shortfall this month  not sure where it's come from, will have to trawl the bank statements as it's bugging me!
eBay sales are upto £15, ending at the weekend which will help a little bit. I also picked a couple of copies of the sun up with the free £5 morrisons fruit and veg voucher, so that will sort salad etc for my pack up next week.
Currently sat at £29.25 on 1poll. Only £10.75 to go to payout! It's sooooo slow but come too far to give up now. Spent some time on swag$ aswell last night. Ideally need to claim £80 in time for Xmas - not sure it's going to happen somehow, but that's my little challenge!
Had small (£24 a month) unexpected pay rise at work. Not a lot but obviously it will help.
Need to sit down and Neal plan for next week in an attempt to get my diet back on track!0 -
Morning diary land!
Quick trip to Morrison yesterday to make use of the free fruit and veg voucher and then spent yesterday morning turning it all into nice healthy ready meals for the freezer. So far have done a big pot of veg curry and one of bolognese. Will make a chilli and lasagne today if i get chance.
Spent £5 agc on another Xmas pressie - they're getting crossed off my list quite nicely now and not many £'s spent thanks to swags, clubcard etc.
Couple more bids on eBay. They finished tonight so fingers crossed for a few more bids.0
